Maidenform Women's Body Shaper With Built-In Bra Shapewear FL1056

I was originally going to give this product 4 stars, but felt that it was also fair to give it 5. I have worn it and washed it (in a garment bag and hung up to dry) several times. It appears well made with good workmanship. The hook and eye closure is nice, the stitching is neat. The material held up well to being washed. I purchased my bra size and it was a perfect fit. This bodysuit is designed to fit snuggly and smoothly over you, but not to flatten or really squeeze. So if that is what you want, I would not purchase this product for that one reason. What I really wanted was a tighter squeeze, but after searching for very long I have concluded that those come in a completely different price bracket and wanted to give this a try instead. For the price that I paid, it was a great deal actually - you get a bra, a camisole and a panty, basically, all stitched into one garment for under $30. That's pretty good. As far as bras go, it is a pretty decent one - good sizing and very nearly no show. Like, someone would have to actively stare at my breasts in a tight shirt on a really cold day to spot anything. So I feel confident in wearing it. One thing I don't like is the panty lines. I do think that there is no such thing as a no-show panty, unless it is a thong, but I just wanted to point out that this will definitely cause them in case you thought otherwise.

It is Maidenform. Have a lot of bras from this co and they fit very well. Bought the 34c as thats tge bra size i wear, but not overflowing a c cup. My waist is 28 in 136 lbs. 5.3 in heightalrhough gained weight a lot. Wt mostly on my thighs. Broad and muscular arms. Still fit into a sz 6 US dress. So this undergarment has the right amt of hold without having back fat pouching out. Easiest to fet in and out placing yoyr legs inand pulling up or down. Added a picture. Please dont mind all of my boyfriends junk around the room in his home! Just couldnt wait to place pic with review!

About me:I’m 5’3, 160 pounds. I’m an upside down triangle (big breasted with more fat on the arms and back) and smaller waist and athletic legs. On my “fat” days, I’m a 38 D. I’m 40 years old but age doesn’t matter, right?!What I needed: I struggle to find control for the girls and need my back to be smoothed out because I hate it when I get rolls when I wear any type of bra – even if I’m fitted properly…I get rolls above and below my bra line, UGH!!!I also was not looking for a girdle-type affect. I wasn’t expecting to go down in sizes – just want smoothness and firm control. I find it hilarious that some of the comments here were expecting such.It is so very difficult to find the “perfect” body shaper but honestly, without trying it on, it is a hit or miss. Here is what I found for myselfThe cup size is perfect and true to size. It has some padding (not of the heavy variety) but being that my GIRLS are already on the WOW side, less padding is best for me. However, it does the extra padding gives them a nice soft shape and lift.The fabric is soft to the touch. I stepped into the body shaper expecting to wrestle my way in it – I even prayed a bit before pulling it up but surprisingly, it went up nicely. Of course, lots of pinching and pulling here and there until I got it over my butt, stomach, and boobs but I didn’t curse my way into it or break a nail. And it didn’t take over 5 minutes to fully adjust everything. I looked in the mirror and saw that it did smooth everything out including my back. It didn’t give the double boob look either. The stomach area does have a double liner so there IS CONTROL. For those saying "it's not holding my stomach in", gurl...it didn't suck or flatten mine either; you are round and bodacious that's all. This garment smoooooths you out and works with what YOU have.The crotch area didn’t give me issues and is comfortable to wear. It does have several hook options for height adjustment but If you are very tall (umm over 5’8/ 5’9 or above) there might be issues because I played around with it and it didn’t make such a huge difference.So I give it 4 stars because I really like it. It didn't wow me nor is it the best I've ever had. For me, this one is good...not perfect, but good. It is well made, the cups fit nicely with relatively good coverage and a light lining in the cup. The legs are not cut as high as I like, but the flat fabric at the leg does not leave a panty line, so they are fine. It smooths me out everywhere I wanted it to and is comfortable to wear all day so it's doing it's job nicely.I ordered both the tan and black one. I’m glad it fit nicely and didn’t have to return both of them. If you do need to return them. Because I fall between a C and D and between a 36 and 38 and don't really have a "usual size", I ordered three sizes: 36C; 38C; and 36D. Any of them would have worked but I chose to keep the 36D because it held in my tummy slightly tighter than the 38. I chose the D over the C cup simply out of vanity and there really was no detectable difference. Because I found another body shaper in a beige that went perfectly under my white tops, I got this body shaper in black to go under my non-white/-light colored clothing. It looks and feels sexy, it's comfortable, it's smooth under clothing, and it fits and supports in all the right places... no butt indentations, no back fat, no tummy rolls. I'm afraid I'll wear it out wearing it so frequently so I'll have to get another one soon in case they discontinue it or change it in the future. (I also got and love the Bali Women’s Shapewear Firm Control Ultra Light Built-in Bra Lace Body Shaper Briefer Fajas DF6552, in nude 36C, and it's great under light-colored clothing. The lace is feminine, the shaper makes my chest look great, and it's equally comfortable.)

I buy these shape wear pieces all the time since having kids. This one however is meant for super short people I think. Lol. Or good if your boobs hang so far down the cups still catch it. Other than that I loved it as usually. Returned since my boobs don’t hit the floor though.

Smooths out the lumps and bumps for a sleek look. Not too tight.

The style of this is perfect... especially if you like to wear V-necked tops. It is low enough that I have never had a problem with it showing. The cups are thick enough to prevent anything from showing thru, but are not "padded" which is perfect. The straps are not too wide, but they also do not dig into the shoulders. The overall feel is soft, but supportive. - I wear this everyday, but I have cut the crotch out to make it a camisole. It is much more comfortable than a bra and offers slimming too. It would be wonderful if they would come out with a camisole version.
