I am very happy I made this purchase. I have been using this external display for over three years and never occurred to me what I was missing. I bought this cable just because as I needed the HDMI input in my monitor to connect something else and I thought I can use the spare DisplayPort input with my MacBook's mini DisplayPort output. It's a world of a difference from HDMI. The cable itself is very well build, sturdy and light weight at the same time. The connectors are premium quality. Getting the cable to work was pretty straightforward. I spend a whole lot of time on my computer, and since I was used to see output over HDMI for a long time, I could instantly see a world of difference with the DisplayPort. I am not been this happy with any purchase in recent times. It's an big upgrade in my work setup and I hope would help boost the productivity.

The cable quality was excellent. However it didn't work with my MacBook Pro mid 2012 model. I ordered this as it was vaguely mentioned in the description that it works for MacBook Pro models. At first, I thought I received a faulty cable so submitted the replacement request. However, the problem persisted even with the new replacement provided by Amazon. I had no option but to return the cable. Thanks to amazing customer service by Amazon. I was fully refunded. Later, I ordered Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable by Amazon Basics and it worked smoothly.

I recently bought a 165HZ monitor from acer to hook it up to my Laptop(Legion Y720|GTX 1060). But seeing some review in the product page I saw a guy(With the exact same laptop as mine) saying random BS that this cable wasn't able to drive the display at full refresh rate, I totally ignored that pesky review and bought it and I am relieved to say that THIS CABLE WORKS JUST FINE AND DRIVES MY DISPLAY AT 1080p AT 165hz WITH G-SYNC. The cable quality is OK and the DisplayPort connector is latch less so it just friction latches. Go for a longer cable if your monitor is far from the display source connector.

This is a two-way cable. I use it to connect my Predator Helios 300 with my Dell Ultrasharp 24 inch which does not have an HDMI input, and only has a Displayport and DVI-D port. My monitor would have been useless without this cable. Thankfully the laptop had a mini-Displayport so this cable is a major lifesaver for this highly specific need. I presume most people who will buy this cable will be Dell Ultrasharp users.

I was worried if it works. But the product quality and cable strength is awesome. I get upto 1440p (limitation) from my mac mini to a 4k display.

Delivering 5120×1440 resolution at 70Hz refresh rate (may deliver more but it is the maximum limit of the my monitor) pretty well. I am using it on my 49inch Philips Brilliance monitor. 10ft lenght cable is little lengthy, 6ft lenght must be enough for most of the times unless the monitor and the source (Computer/laptop) is placed at quite some distance.

Very good.... nice quality connectivity.... value for money

Initially had problems with "no signal" error but then you have to disconnect and reconnect the cable and switch display options (duplicate, only 2nd display, etc) a few times for Windows to recognise the attached cable. I got it to work after a few tries. Excellent value for money compared to other expensive options. This cable does show a bandwidth support of 2.7gbps x 4 which is v1.0 speed but I believe it's a software bug since I did not find any problems using the monitor on DP v1.2

Working as expected very good quality

This cable was purchased to connect a MacBook mid-2012 running MacOS Sonoma to a Dell Monitor at 4k resolution. The mini Thunderbolt port connected to the Dell's DisplayPort and the screen was instantly recognised. Settings were changed to extend the desktop and the set up worked well with the cable straight out of the box. The cable itself is sturdy with a good black rubber covering and also with sturdy rubberised connection ends. At less than £10.00 it was very good value for money I thought.
