Has loads of information on doing just about anything to your Dyna
Only didn't give it the fifth star because it doesn't say squat about what actual tools to use. Don't know whether or not that's a thing that's usually included, but I got this because I don't know squat about working on my bike and wanted to learn. Was hoping it would tell me what tools/socket sizes I'm using to remove whatever it's telling me to, but that's a small hurdle.

When you need it, you need it.
This book is big and complete. Unless you own multiple Harley models listed in here, you'll never use most of it. However!! The cost of this book is about the same as others that are written for just 1 model, so that in itself makes it a bargain. The diagrams and instructions are clear. The pictures are black and white, which can sometimes make it difficult to tell what's what, but the pictures are clear enough that if you look at them side-by-side with your bike, you can figure out what you're looking at.Some of the instructions could be more directing. For instance, some instructions refer to other instructions in the book (i.e. to access XYZ, you need to remove ABC following the instructions to remove ABC) without giving you a page number to go to. It's easy enough to find the references by flipping to the index, but it makes for a lot of back-and-forth if you're not already familiar with the book. In this respect, I would have given it a 3.Now, when you get into electrical problems, this is where the money is. The book comes with a CD that includes how to read the DTCs (if applicable) and wiring schematics. It's on Adobe and a free Adobe Reader is available on-line. The CD is like a whole other book, just click on either "DTC-Flow Charts" or "Wiring Diagram". The CD even has an easy to follow, clickable trouble shooting chart that, used in conjunction with the book can walk you through the electronic problems - bumped up to 4 stars because although I can easily figure out the mechanical parts, the electronics are a challenge for me that are made easier with this book.Overall, I'm FAR more confident tinkering on my bike with this book than simply trying to youtube everything. Also the book helps you identify the actual name of certain parts, which makes researching replacement parts easier. My advice, if you're just looking to change your own oil - use common sense or youtube it and save $32. If you're looking do intermediate and advanced repairs and have some basic knowledge of what a wrench is - then this book is worth the investment. As for me, my local dealership is always backlogged with repairs so this saves me time and money. I've noticed that although it tends to be a bit segmented in some of the instructions, the instructions are thorough and well written.

Great manual for anyone doing their own work on their Dyna
In the days of the internet, it's pretty easy to find information about how to fix a motorcycle, but getting exact specs for your exact year can be a long search. This manual has all the torque specs and procedures in an easy to find and read format. Worth every penny, IMHO. I've pulled the front and rear wheels, adjusted the clutch, and adjusted the throttle cables using this manual and it was great having the book right next to me while I was working.

if you own a dyna and need help buy this book!
I have little to no knowledge of dynas and harleys in general, but I just completed a complete primary rebuild thanks to this book. Paid for itself already.

Clymer never disappoints
3rd manual I've owned by them and once again proves to be an excellent item. This particular caught me off guard by the disc included until I saw it was the flowcharts and wiring diagrams for many yeas and models of Dynas. Had they put it in the manual it would have been twice as thick. Good call by putting it on disc because all I had to do was find my bike's stuff, print and stick it in the book.

Five Stars
The next best thing to a factory manual. Way better than Haynes. But don't order from Aphrohead Books. They lie cheat and steal!
