I wish I had a video to add. I will hopefully update with one soon. I put this into a filled bath tub to see the amount of thrust compared to a 30lb minnkota. I could put the minnkota on high and hold it in place with ease. (I'm 28 years old and I'm no weakling) When I put this beast in, I couldn't hang onto it at 1/3 power. VERY impressed. I'm using this on my 14ft dinghy so I can not only troll but also use it as an outboard. I can tell ya fellers. She's got some oomph! Can't wait to see how fast it goes. Very well built as well. It is actually lighter, yes lighter, than a 30lb minnkota which was quite surprising as well. The controller is quite large but has a lot of nice features and feels really well built. Now for the negative, yes it has a wine and when people say whine it's that wine you heard on a remote control car as you would start to accelerate it but a bit louder due to the size motor differences. It can be a bit ear piercing due to the frequency. Not gonna lie tho, if you go brushless with a fully variable handle at this price, your gonna have a hard time avoiding that whine. I'm ok with it as long as it doesn't get too much louder with load. Conclusion: If you want powerful and a reliability built trolling motor to scoot your dinghy, kayak, or small boat around that serves as both a trolling motor and a small outboard? This is it. Great low and high speeds. Edit: owned now for over a year with no problems. great power and i use it as my main propultion source on my dinghy and my 16' alumacraft. works well on both applications. very pleased with the performance!

This motor performs quite well on our catamaran, reaching speeds of about 6 km/h at full throttle. With approximately 400 Ah of LiFePO4 batteries and a solar panel, it handled our 50 km trip on Maligne Lake effortlessly. While it can be a bit noisy at full speed, reducing the throttle slightly makes it quieter. The motor is also compact, and the handle tilts down for easy storage. It's quite durable too; although the propeller grazed some rocks and picked up a few scrapes, it remains in good condition. However, the battery indicator may not be entirely accurate since we are using LiFePO4 batteries. Customer service has been incredibly kind and helpful, so I highly recommend reaching out to them if you encounter any issues or questions. Edit: We went to Maligne Lake again, it handled pretty well, except for some vibrations at times, but was still very good!

Great power, had a Minn Kota 40f/lbs troller but this is definitely a great upgrade. Peppy and battery draw seems much more efficient. I don't understand people outraged about it being made in China, so is your iPhone. I use it on my 18' StarCraft and on my 11' Princecraft for quick little fishing trips. I pair it with a Lifepo4 100AH battery, I can briskly troll (2-3kph) for about 4hrs in variable wind with two people only uses about 25% of the battery. I would 100% recommend this motor, I would buy a second one if I had the cash. I'm definitely going to pick up a spare prop though, there's some wood on the lake because of logging, a couple of alarming strikes and the prop shows no damage. Great response time on customer service as well, I had some questions and they were very prompt and professional in their response.

The only reason this company didn't get 5 stars is there claimed horsepower. This has been addressed in previous reviews. I would say this product provides the highest possible propulsion capable in 12 volts. I have bought a lot of trolling motors over the years and this one is best! (amongst the budget based). I hook it up to a large lithium pack and it will run fully open for the longest time. (maybe the brushless efficiency?). I had a question about the motor for the distributer. I called and left a message on their recorder. They were apologetic for not getting back to me sooner but "they had a boat show last weekend and this was the soonest they could get back to me" So I would say greatgreat customer service too!

Had two Minn Kotas and one Greenworks in the past. This one just blows them out of the water. No pun intended. LOL. Very quiet and I mean very quiet. Not sure why there is complaints about noise. Throttle is amazingly smooth. Motor is a real powerhouse for an electric as well. Goes along at a nice speed at full throttle. I would compare it to a 2.5 gas outboard. It just feels more robust and solid than anything I have had in the past. Went fishing today with a friend and I have a Lifepo 12 volt 100 ah battery. After 8 solid hours of running the battery came back to 80% of its charge within two minutes on my charger. To be honest I was reluctant to buy one as there are mixed reviews. I only go on fresh water and if my first impression is anything to go on, this has got to be the best little electric motor on the market. I would recommend it with no reservations.
