180F activation really means 195-210 activation… better to just wire up a manual switch
My first one of these wouldn’t activate my transmission cooler fans until my trans fluid got to 210F, it would turn off at 175F. So I ordered another one of the 180F sensors and tested it inside in a controlled environment to check it before I put it on the car. The new one would not turn on at any temp less than 195F.

Cheap materials, weak construction
Product broke during installation before any tension could be put on the stem so it would seal. Now I have to replace not only the thermostat but the fitting it screws into as well as the fluid wasted to do the repair. Add on top of that I have to pay return shipping on something that was defective I am basically paying to have a part break and ruin another part. This $18 part is now going to cost me over $50.

If you hate your engine
This thing couldn't find 180 deg with a GPS, Two Maps and Rudolph the red nose reindeer. JUNK. Why can't I give negative stars?
