Such a fun muffin tin!
It so far has been perfect for us! I do use a basting brush to coat the dinos with softened or melted butter and the muffins just fall out when they’re done baking. Since they come out so easily there’s virtually nothing left in the tin for me to clean. I’ll just use soap, water, and our dish brush to get any little bits out and it’s good to go again!

Loved it!
Bought for a dino birthday party for a three-year old. Used the recipe that came with the pan. The recipe made three batches, cakes reminded me of madelines in taste, slightly lighter in texture, overall - delicious, with great detail. Not a single part of a detail got stuck, all three batches released with ease. Used different greasing method with each batch: bakers joy with first (didn’t care for the smell, the spray foamed too much and resulted in the less pronounced detail). Used melted butter brushed on and into every crevice, with a dusting of flour - liked this method the best. On the third batch I tried brushing the pan with butter-flour paste, as was recommended by someone previously, think it may work better on a cold pan, because hot/warm pan tends to cook flour into detail. Each batch takes about 40 minutes from start to finish, that is including baking at 325F for 25 minutes (in my oven), 10 minutes cooling the cakes in the pan before releasing, washing, drying and scooping the new batch in (half-full was just right). On the photos you’ll see both second and third batches, the first one I considered to be a cooks treat :-). Conclusion: definitely a project, and if you are ready to give few hours to it - well worth it!03/28/21 update: used a boxed pancake mix to try - with the amazing result (see the photo with 8 pale pancake dinos)! Buttering and flouring, baking and cooling before release remained the same.

Dino love
I love this pan. I have two now. The grandkids love whatever I bake in it - banana bread muffins or cupcakes. Cleaning is easy. It’s sturdy and well made. I highly recommend.

Cute and Easy to clean!
This pan bakes beautiful mini cakes and fun shaped muffins. My kindergartener has loved showing off the different dinosaur muffins during snack time. Plus it's super easy to clean! Even with all the nooks and cranies. I do also put a light layer of oil on the pan before putting the batter. Definitely recommend.

ADORABLE Dinosaurs for the delight of KIDS!
I made these in secret for our 5 & 8 year old boys, and were they EXCITED! We had a combo of their birthdays at Peter Piper Pizza, with all their friends, and these little cakes were easy to take along, and ALL the kids were thrilled! We put a candle in each one and had everyone blow them out at the same time, after we sang "HBD to you." It was a HIT, but a couple of the kids wanted to "SAVE" theirs instead of gobbling them up - didn't plan on that - needed toters or baggies or something for their cakes, and a marker for their names (just FYI.)I wanted GREAT DEFINITION in the details on the cakes, so this is what I did: First, I heated the pan while the oven was preheating, THEN sprayed the insides of the hot pan thoroughly with food release spray. Then I put 1/4 cup batter in each HOT dinosaur (the sections only hold 1/3 cup to the TOP, so more was too much) and baked them 25 degrees HOTTER then called for, AND FOR A LOT LESS TIME. (Watch the cakes!) After cooling for ten minutes, they fell right out, with EXCELLENT detail! Later I used glazing sugar to make a thin icing to glaze them. PERFECT!Also, about cleaning the pan, after I pop out the cakes, I slip the STILL WARM pan into a sink of HOT water (NO SOAP!) and let it soak while I finish the icing. Then I simply use a soft brush to swirl out the crumbs in each section (NO scrubbing!) and rinse the pan, then set it in the still hot oven to dry. READY for the next time! For a lifetime of use, Nordic Ware pans LOVE this method - especially the NEVER scrub and NEVER soap part! I have had some of my Nordic Ware for DECADES and they are in BRAND NEW condition. Try it!

DINORIFFIC!
I have NO cooking experience with cakes or cake pans (actually little cooking experience, period) and only just started making cupcakes w/some help. My husband says I am so skilled I can burn water...so I felt advanced enough to tackle this pan, HAH! I have to say, following the directions of the commenters, the dinos came out perfect each time. I got Betty Crocker White Cake mix, Wilton's Green food coloring gel, and baking spray w/flour inside it. I mixed the ingredients and added the green dye to my liking, heated the oven with the pan inside to 425 degrees, took it out to spray it and add the mix, and held my breath as they baked and I watched. I put the dinos in for around 13 minutes (15 for the first batch since they were over-filled, 13 for the medium filled, and 11 for the just barely filled). Had I not overfilled the first batch, I would have gotten 24 dinosaur cakes out of a single box of cake mix! The ideal fill rate is slightly less than half the depth of the dinos but you can get away with filling JUST to get into every nook (these dinos will be smaller and more cookie-like). If you fill a bit over half the dinos they will get muffin tops and be all poofy but it doesn't make them harder to get out of the pan. In fact, just a slight tip of the pan and they all slide right on out! Then, I spritzed with water from the faucet spray to get residue cake out of the crevices and put the pan back into the oven to warm up and get ready for the next batch. Thank you guy for showing me how to make these!
