This book is just great, actually I'm a laboratory medicine student and have to learn about botany and molecular biology in a detailed way which will complete my knowledge for the graduation basis. I have not completed this book, i just complete chapter 1. That the review is just awesome. This book is also great for M.sc Entrace level. Don't forget to buy part II as both books complete almost everything. Don't think that you doesn't belong to other stream and will have trouble understanding human and plant physiology just read the book thoroughly. Good luck with your entrance.

Pathfinder made my college life way more easier. It has many subjects from my course. Easy to understand language and very helpful as it has questions for NET as well. Must buy for biology students!

I am currently doing my Masters in Zoology and if anyone who is in Bachelors and is seeing this review, BUY THIS BOOK AND READ THE HELL OUT OF IT.Not only will it help you in the Masters entrance exams, it covers almost all the syllabus for the NET, GATE exams, you this book will be useful to you for entire 5 years minimum.Start with the basics, get those cleared, by reading your 12th biology books really well. Then you can read this book chapter by chapter when you are doing BSc, 3 years is a long time and you would have read a great deal of it.If you stick to Zoology or Botany, stick to this book during your Masters and it will take you places.The chapters are explanatory and to the poimt, which is helpful and reading throughout the year will be great.Although there are reviews with say that the books don't cover the entire syllabus, I will say its a must buy. I refer and read from at least 4 books for each subject during my semesters and it helps in clearing th fundamentals. This book is a whetstone, it will sharpen what you already have, so its expected to know things before reading this book.

Very informative book from basic label. But book was damage some portion has folded after delivery. Otherwise very helpful book for any competitive exam of biology.
