I purchased the Medium and I am a female who is 5 ft 5 in and weighs 135 lbs. It fits well, not tight. If I lose another 15 lbs (go to 120 lbs) it will be perfect also. If you are shorter in height it will work well for you also because the pants legs will stop at your ankle because of the binding and excess material will just balloon and look nice. It will look flowing. If you are much taller than 5 ft 5 inches, you might want a larger size perhaps. I found the material lovely and the color is very white. It is thin. However, the top is long enough that it will cover your bottom portion and will be modest. As a female you can wear a white tank or even a white tee shirt for the top. As a male, nothing underneath will be necessary. I am extremely pleased with the product.

This is a beautiful white/off white tai chi outfit that fits perfectly. But it is not real silk. It is a shiny soft polyester. That said, the outfit is well made. I ordered a Medium, my normal size (8-10), and it fits beautifully. The elastic in the waist and ankles is not tight. There is a small change/key pocket inside the pants. The top is loose and drapes beautifully. The arms are a bit long, but that is always true for me. So I just fold them up a couple times. I washed it on "Hand Wash" in lukewarm water in the washing machine, and dried the outfit on low in the dryer for 20 minutes. It came out like new.

Bought this for my dad who does tai chi every morning. It fits true to size and he was really happy with how it felt during his morning practice!

The upper is a little too large, the sleeves are a little too long. The pants are a little tight around waist. I am not very good at buttoning up those nuts around wrists. I hope the suit is more draping. But the suit looks shining, and I feel the product is ok for its price.I would suggest the vendor to add inches in their size chart too. Just a little easier for some customers.
