I could not have asked for a better cover for my iPhone x.. I am a kind of person who loves to change the mobile cover time to time. But this time I feel that I won't look for any other cover from now.. This is one of the best slim armor look case in this price range.. Got it for 199.. Worth every penny.. Perfectly fits iPhone x, camera cut is perfect, charging port and speaker grill cuts are perfect, the mute slider is also perfectly accessable, any iPhone x owner who wants something bold yet classy can buy this .

Before I even received my iPhone X (space grey), I bought a range of cases to review and help you find the best iPhone X cover for your own needs and preferences. I'd like to share with you here my views on the Anker Karapax Shield case.First, allow me to give you a bit of context: when choosing a case for my smartphones, I'm always looking for the best combination of design/style, protection, comfort and value for money. As far as I am concerned, additional features like a built-in stand are just 'nice to have'.I am personally a huge fan of thin-ish covers which offer a satisfying level of protection (including the screen as I dislike screen protectors) without impacting the design of the phone too much, and ideally improve the customer experience (for instance by improving the grip). All the buttons, connectors and the camera (including the flash) should work as well as without the case.Now you will find below my unbiased views on the Karapax Shield case for iPhone X.GOOD+ Extra protective, yet relatively slim+ Good cut outs including camera and flash+ Good, responsive button covers+ Good access to mute button+ Improved grip+ Raised lip offering good screen protection+ Comes with a 18-month warrantyNOT SO GOOD- Not the most protective case ever (there is even a disclaimer)- Shame the Karapax logo is so prominent on the back (I am being picky here as your hand should cover it anyway)CONCLUSIONAt £7.99, this is another great offering from Anker’s Karapax brand: I still personally prefer the Touch case, but this Shield case will be my go-to case while on vacation. I bought this prior to the release of the iPhone X so I would have something to tide me over until I bought some more cases.I normally go for Tech21 gear however on checking them out in Apple Store I was hugely disappointed in the quality.This case felt better in the hand and on the phone and felt to be as protective. It also doesn’t interfere with the Belkin screen protector I have on (it also didn’t interfere with the Anker screen shields I had tried).I left the Apple Store empty handed and this case still on my phone.Oh and it is a bargain price too.

Bought this initially to tide me over until I got the usual UAG case but was so impressed haven’t bothered changing it.Has a nice design and detailing like the carbon fibre inlays as well as the matte finish back for a nice touch. Easy to get on and off and offers good protection all round as well as a screen lip that raises it off if placed face down. Fits snug enough that it doesn’t fall off but not so much that it interferes with screen protectors - am using Anker’s own tempered glass Karapax 2-pack (also from Amazon) and am very pleased with the result.

It looks great & works well protecting your precious iPhone X but there is a MAJOR problem - it has a huge negative impact on the phone’s microphone. With the case on everyone I speak to says my voice sounds muffled & they have a major problem hearing me, remove the case whilst on the call & hey presto, problem solved! I even got Apple to replace my phone but I still had the same issue. It’s a shame as I like Anker products but unfortunately this one is useless!

For the price this is an exceptional phone case. Lovely rugged looks and very grippy in the hand.Don’t waste your time or your money ordering cheap cases, they’ll not offer half the protection that this one does
