Primos Mastering The Art Turkey Call

I think this is a good purchase for the first time user of mouth calls. The Primos guys do a good job on the DVD and the variety of the three calls let you experiment. I found that I still needed to look at 6 or more youtube videos from guys explaining their method of mouth calling because the DVD fellas would explain a concept, but sometimes you need to see someone do it or hear a different explanation for it to sink in. But don't hesitate to buy this package. It's a great place to start. After about 30 minutes of actively using the calls, I started to 'get it' and make sounds that resembled a turkey.

This package is a great intro to calling turkeys. The CD is a great step by step guide. This allows you practice in the truck which is the only place it won't drive the wife crazy. I believe there are better calls out there than the somewhat beginner level ones that come with this kit. However, this package gets 5 stars as a training aid.

I am an avid hunter and shooter but have zero experience turkey hunting. I'm not usually a fan of these packaged kits of less expensive calls but I thought I'd try it. The calls are actually decent quality compared to some I've bought separately and the CD was surprisingly helpful. There is a number of tracks that take you through the basic calls, techniques and when to use them. I found this to be a well put together product.

If you are trying to learn mouth calls, there is nothing better. Simply buying a call and going by the instructions on the package will likely lead to frustration and you'll just stop using mouth calls, a mistake in my opinion. Hands free calling is extremely valuable, especially in open area where birds will spot you running a box or slate from further away than you'd think. The calls in this set are pretty good, personally im not a fan of the dome type. The real value is the instructional cd that comes with it. Keep it in the truck and practice to and from work, thats how i learned. If your serious about turkey hunting there is no substitute for a mouth call and this is the best way I have found to learn.

With a few weeks left until turkey season I wanted to learn to call birds in. This kit let me explore all three options at a great price and came with very clear lessons on how to do it. Very happy.. I can almost smell the Turkey on the smoker now.

Well done Primos. Great starter turkey calls for those new to gobbler hunting. Highly recommend for learning to use a mouth call. I have since killed 5 turkeys using mouth calls, and it all started here!

I like the calls and the case they came in. Im new to turkey calling and these were easy to use. The case keeps the organized and handy. I put the case on a lanyard and wear it around my neck when hunting. My only wish is if the case was cammo color. When i ordered it I thought it was a DVD that I was getting then realized it was a CD, I didn't find that helpful at all I just looked up some You tube videos to learn proper techniques.

I got this because I have not used a turkey call in several years. I found the CD to be very helpful for me to practice my calls as well as learn some I have never used. Simple, basic and helpful instructions have helped me get the sounds that give me confidence my calls can bring in a gobbler. With the included calls this was well worth the purchase price.

Dvd of sounds not very good. Mouth calls work great. Can use mouth calls for coyote hunting also. Good price too
