THE BEST USE OF THIS ITEM ISN'T WHAT IT IS ADVERTISED FOR: IT IS A WONDERFUL STAIN REMOVER FOR COFFEE AND OTHER DARK STAINS on any color fabric, as it is a peroxide, not bleach based product.On a recent plane trip, I spilled a full cup of coffee on my wife's $300 white fabric coat. We tried all the normal stain removers without luck including a full bottle of peroxide. Then I mixed a tablespoon or so of Stain Away in about a half cup of water, stirred it until the granules dissolved and poured it on the stain. It gradually lightened the stain, but it took multiple applications to get it completely white, making my wife happy with me again. There are blue granules which temporarily tint blue, but it rinses right out. If you dissolve it completely before applying to your stain, you won't see this. Since then, I have tried this on multiple fabrics; it does NOT change the color. It seems much more concentrated than plain liquid hydrogen peroxide from the store.I have used this on my mouth guard/retainer. It does a great job without scrubbing. This product contains peroxide. When added to water it releases peroxide. In time, the peroxide releases oxygen and becomes water.

Love this product. Works better than anything I have ever used. I don't use it nightly. I use it 1-2 times a week depending on what I have eaten and drank that week.

I had a badly stained denture! I was new to the world of "denture" - never wanted to go there -- but an injury to my front teeth made it an eventual necessity. This product is very lovely and fresh, easy to use, delightful! It has a wonderful, clean scent. When I used it, however, I had not tried removing stains with the "hefty methods" (solutions of vinegar, bleach, continuous and vigorous brushing -- information received following internet searches). I believe this product will be great used on relatively bright (not stained) dentures. I was really up against it with stains when I tried this product, and likely nothing but the "hefty methods" to which I refer would have helped at that point. In other words, I believe you have to be at a fair starting point -- not to the point of badly stained dentures -- when you evaluate these kinds of products. Thus, I would be glad to update my review now that I am free of stains; I would use it and it may very well maintain a stain-free denture and keep it in a stain-free condition.I will be glad to do that for two to four weeks, and will then update my review.

The product has no taste after soaking. Follow directions on the package for best results.
