No more rattles!
I had a heat shield on the motorbike exhaust box come loose and no easy way to get at it (short of taking the entire system apart). Trying some other HT cements I found the temperatures to be way above what other heat resistant cements seem to be capable of coping with. Using this product, I applied some between the heat shield and the collector box and simply pushed together. Over 2 months later, still as solid as if the heat shield had been bolted back on.

Arrived earlier than expected.
Bit running to start but looks good as a contrast to slate. Not had the fire going yet so can't comment on heat resistance .

Another poor product
Unfortunately, I didn't quite learn from my recent encounter with a very similar (same?) product - IDEAL BLACK FIRE AND STOVE HIGH TEMEPERATURE ADHESIVE SEALANT 1250 DEGREE 310ml.www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NAVAEGQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1After the last failure I decided to have one last go at a 'branded' sealant rather than a fire cement. Two weeks later I find myself having to report another product that promises 1500 degree resistance but has failed miserably at sealing the outlet flue of my wood burning stove. This sealant is almost identical to the first product I tried, apart from being more watery and drying a LIGHT GREY colour - not black!! I will therefore ask readers to read the first review and consider all points as being applicable to this sealant.Sorry not to give full details here, but the two products are as good as identical in performance : (
