The ring light and stand are simple to assemble the unit comes with a remote control and its important to match up the channel with the lights channel after powering on the light for example if the light says ch19 and the remote says ch14 the remote won't work until you synchronize the remote with the light. You hold the remotes center button for about 7 seconds then scroll through the channels until you match them.The light itself is bright very good quality nice output you won't be left disappointed. The light has options for 3300k to 5600 kelvan the 5600 being the coolest light the 3300k being the warmest glow. If you lose the remote you have no way to change the kelvans manually I didn't like that part of it so don't lose the remote.It has a option to purchase spare batteries I purchased them slid in the batteries I powered the light on it showed battery power levels. I plugged in the light to charge the batteries and unfortunately they didn't incorporate a feature in the light to charge batteries so you have to manually charge separately with mini USB cords then place them back into the light after they are finished charging.The batteries are nice and a great option for portability to areas with no power available..But not being able to charge batteries through light when plugged in is the reason for 4 stars vs 5 for me who wants to charge batteries everytime you want to go portable or have a sporadic moment you want to take this out in the wilderness if you forgot to recharge them..Other than that for me its a great light and will fit most anybody needs it has a nice phone holder its solid..

I bought this ring light for live streaming on twitch and video/filming for youtube. It's 18" Inches in diameter, so it's a decent size to cover a large area, but perfect enough to for mid range and up-close work as well. It's got a nice and super simple LED interface for brightness dimming and color adjustment (warm/cool tones). The LED interface has numbers for easy to remember settings. It comes with attachments to mount your phone (great for selfies, portraits, live instagram videos) that make it very useful for professional looking product photos as well. The phone mount work for both iphone & android models.The tripod stand is pretty sturdy and locks in place great, it extends pretty high up, and allows you to adjust the angle for overhead lighting which works well for flat lay photos. It's not too big, has a slim design so its great for crowded spaces and tight corners.I've used this daily since purchasing and have had zero issues with it. It's a MUST HAVE for youtube makeup tutorials. The ring light provides studio quality and even level lighting and much better than traditional spot lighting or soft-box lighting. It supports 2 battery packs as well in case you need to do something on site where there is no outlets nearby which makes it real versatile. Even if you aren't using this for video, filming, and photography purposes, it gives nice lighting for you to do make up.

Love everything about this product

I must say that this is a very handy light that looks great and is very easy to use. We shot a music video and this was our main base light for our artist and everybody is very happy with the results. The grip dept however, hated it because it would not mount onto any of the C stand arms or smaller grip items. The mounting screw and opening for connectors was smaller than the industry standard. They had to manually clamp the external body of the light with clamps and now it is scratched. But we have rebuilt it and it works a bit better now with our gear. Still a good buy though.

I want to start this review by saying that I have tried multiple ring lights. Many people look at size or white balance and think that they are all the same. This is not true. You are going to want a ring light like this that has an internal white balance control. Some of the other brands use hard clip on covers to change the color but that is very time consuming especially if you use this for your business. With one button click in- you control the brightness and then the white balance- this helps get very natural looking pictures even in very dark corners. We are using this in a salon and the clients love getting their picture taken with it. If you are using this for your own vlogs or pictures- spend the extra and get the remote. But for portraits of others- the phone mount is plenty for your needs. Overall I am happy with the light.- the best one we own

This is my first ring light so wasn't sure what to expect. Considered cheaper ones, but this one has considerably more features. Even though this one does more than I know how to use so far, I'll probably buy a second one. Only thing that could be just a little better would be a little sturdier. I tend to bump it, kick it, knock it easily. But that's on me.

I bought this for my TikTok famous kid so he could have the ring reflection in his eyes. It has a great set of features too, variable color temp and brightness, and can run on battery power. I 'borrowed' it a couple of times and tried using it in a traditional light role but it seems to have only one usable position, straight on the subject with the camera shooting through the ring. We are very satisfied with its performance as a ring light. We also have a few flat panels by the same company, these have the same features and the ring and are nice lights as well.
