Need for Speed -- A comprehensive review of the fastest microsd cards
🏆 I had the opportunity to compare the performance of the fastest microsd cards currently available from top manufacturers. All cards mentioned in this review are obtained from Amazon during the last week or two except when noted otherwise.🏆 Test Setup:Lexar Professional workflow UR1 microsd card reader was used for all tests except when notedCrystalDiskMark 5.0.2 x64 was used to produce all the test results and was set up with 2 passes and 100MB read/write sizeAll cards up to 32GB are formatted as FAT32 with 32KB allocation unit size, all 64GB cards are formatted exFAT with 128KB allocation unit sizeTest Results (Numbers are Sequential Read, Sequential Write, 4K Random Read, 4K Random Write in MB/s, speeds greater than 10MB/s were rounded to the whole numbers)16 GB AlphabeticallyLexar 633x** -- 88, 25, 8.7, 1.2Panasonic U3** -- 93, 42, 11, 0.7Sandisk Extreme Pro -- 95, 80, 7.6, 2.632 GB AlphabeticallyDelkin U3 -- 93, 59, 11, 0.6Kingston 90R/80W -- 93, 58, 11, 0.6Lexar 1000x -- 90, 57, 10, 1.4 <== the listed productLexar 1000x with Bundled Reader* -- 148, 60, 10, 1.4Patriot EP -- 90, 35, 10, 0.6PNY Turbo Performance -- 91, 55, 6.9, 0.9PNY Elite Performance Lime Green -- 94, 55, 7.4, 1.0Samsung Pro gray -- 92, 82, 10, 3.6Sandisk Extreme Pro -- 94, 87, 9, 3.0Sony up to 95MB/s -- 91, 51, 4.8, 0.9Transcend Ultimate 633x -- 93, 85, 8.1, 1.464 GB AlphabeticallyDelkin U3 -- 94, 27, 13, 0.3Kingston 90R/80W -- 94, 25, 13, 0.3Lexar 1000x -- 92, 56, 12, 1.5Lexar 1000x with Bundled Reader* -- 153, 66, 11, 1.7Patriot EP -- 81, 22, 11, 0.6PNY Turbo Performance -- 92, 54, 6.9, 0.9PNY Elite Performance Lime Green -- 92, 54, 7.5, 1.0Samsung black -- 82, 20, 8.8, 2.1Samsung Pro gray -- 90, 80, 10, 3.5Samsung Pro+ *** -- 92, 86, 10, 5.3Sandisk Extreme U3 -- 92, 88, 5.5, 0.5Sandisk Extreme Plus U1 **** -- 92, 58, 10, 2.8Sandisk Extreme Plus U3 -- 92, 88, 9.4, 2.9Sandisk Extreme Pro - 97, 91, 10, 3.0Sandisk Ultra ***** -- 46, 16, 7.0, 2.1Sony up to 95MB/s -- 92, 49, 5.2, 0.9Transcend Ultimate 633x -- 93, 83, 7.3, 1.4128 GB AlphabeticallyLexar 633x -- 78, 28, 3.3, 1.4PNY High Performance -- 81, 22, 5.4, 0.9Samsung EVO+ -- 82, 26, 5.9, 1,2 <== the listed product, different capacitySandisk Ultra -- 92, 19, 6.4, 2.4* The Lexar 1000x card is the only UHS-II card available and tested, the bundled USB reader has extra pins for reading UHS-II card** Came bundled with a device*** Purchased from a large west coast electronics retailer. It is different from the gray-colored Pro card**** old model tested, not the current U3 model***** old model testedFastest Sequential Read:All tested cards were able to accomplish > 90MB/s, with the Lexar 1000x able to take advantage of UHS-II speed when using the bundled USB reader and leading the packFastest Sequential Write:Sandisk Extreme Pro, Samsung Pro+, Transcend Ultimate 633xFastest Random Read:Kingston 90R/80W.Fastest Random Write:Samsung Pro+Best overall:Samsung Pro+ and Sandisk Extreme ProOther observations:Performance and price are not proportional when it comes to selecting a microSD card. Some of the worst performing cards in this review also happen to be the most expensive.Not all 633x cards are created equal. The two cards reviewed from Lexar and Transcend are both marked as 633x but vary in performance greatly.4k video recording using action cams and drone cameras have a typical bitrate of 60mbps or 100mbps, corresponding to 7.5MB/s to 12.5MB/s. All cards in this review should theoretically be able to handle this usage easily.Using microsd card as supplemental phone storage potentially could benefit from a faster card,Best Looking Card (if it matters):Sandisk Extreme Pro: Red/Gold with white printLexar 1000x: White/Gold with Black/White printSamsung Pro+: White/Black with a red stripe and Black/White printPNY Turbo: Lime Green/Black with Black/White print❤️ Thanks for reading my review.I hope my review provided all the information for a well-informed and wise purchase decision.Anyway If you have any queries then feel free to email me.I hope it helps ❤️❤️ You Can Ask Question to me if You Need Any Type Of Help .❤️

Good and fast Micro SD card, looks genuine.
Bought it for a advertised 43 % + discount at Rs.1119. It was worth the price. Here are some things to make a note of..- Hyped price - Advertised price on Amazon.in is Rs.2,200/- but actual MRP printed on the product is Rs.1570. [I got it on about 28% off from MRP - hyped price - deducted one star]- Look and finish on the advertised pic is good, but the printing on the actual MMSD card is not that good.- Tested using H2testw and speeds were very low, but 59.6 GB was available. [around 12 MBps]- The MMSD adapter provided is of good built quality.- Looks like using the Adapter slows down the card to a good extend.- And, its obviously Made in China.Benchmarked with a free app on my HTC One :Read Speed : 68 MBpsWrite Speed : 26 MBpsI'm attaching some pics along with this. Hope it helps.

Best budget action camera ever
Everything is good about this product except its memory card wants format when inserted to PC/Mobile. You can copy data using USB though.==PROS==1. Good quality material used for manufacturing.2. Using Waterproof case you can also hear sound.3. Accessories are heaven for rider.4. Night vision is good but not best.5. Battery works nonstop for 1Hr on HD recording.6. Camera fell from lose mount but still no scratches on body.7. Handling of camera on water proof case is damn good.==CONS==1. Waterproof case added blurred round edges in video2. You can not connect/insert memory card to computer/mobile directly as it requires formatting of data.3. Video are shot in name sequence but some videos are not in sequence and showing wrong date of creation. Dont know why.Otherwise its best budget action camera ever.

WORTH THE MONEY !!! BEST 64 GB CARD FOR LESS MONEY.
MORE THAN SATISFIED WITH IT... Just gets my work done. Worth the money !*** Sandisk has emerged as a premium brand pretty quickly with its offerings mainly in storage solutions.This is a microSD card that would work extremely well for Pro Photographers and flagship smartphone users and clicking pictures won't be a pain even if you use a very high end DSLR. Priced at Rs.1299/- at the time I bought it, it comes with a Sandisk adapter included for use in cameras. It's a UHS-1 Class 10 card with an average read speed of upto 80 MB/s and write speed of 48 MB/s. Also as the name suggests, its an SDXC card meaning it would now be able to record videos in high end video codecs such as XAVC by Sony at upto 50 Mbps to the microSD card.This card does work well for shooting videos upto 1080p at 60fps but beyond that, it would lag or won't work well enough if you try shooting RAW footage or simply 4K.***Here's the verdict - I bet you won't get a cheaper 64 GB card with such marvellous specs and read/write speeds. ITS A DEFINITE BUY FOR ME even though I bought it for shooting videos...GET THIS ONE, YOU WONT REGRET FOR SURE !!!******Product link down below :- SanDisk Ultra MicroSDXC 64 GB UHS-I Class 10 Memory Card + SD Adapter

Genuine and reliable!
With all the questionable MicroSD cards being produced today, it's important to gather all the information you can.The MicroSD I bought was the SanDisk Ultra MicroSDXC UHS-I with adapter.It states that the speed can reach 80MB/S, but with a caveeat- the write speed is no where near this. Check the disclaimers:[16-128 GB] Up to 80 MB/s read speed; write speed lower.I just ran H2testw 1.4 (latest) to verify my MicroSD, as you should do when you receive any storage cards.The writing speed using a USB 3.0 MicroSD Adapter from KiWiBiRD reached a maximum of 28.5 MByte/s- I was hoping for better.The reading speed using the same adapter reached a maximum of 85.6 MByte/s (Great!)The test finished without errors and filled the full capacity of the card, so I can verify that it at least isn't a re-labelled fake.I contacted SanDisk about determining if my MicroSD card was a fake, and I provided them with some information and a number of photos.An excerpt of their response: "Based on the information that you have provided, it seems that your card is an authentic SanDisk product."Perfect! Totally recommended. Bought a second for a relative.

It stopped working.
I bought this twice. 1 was on 2019. It was working just fine it lasted for 2 years, until it got full and my device just suddenly stopped reading it. I had to get a recovery computer app which cost me £35 to recover all the pictures and videos that was in it. I just thought it stopped working knowing it's been 2 years. So I bought another 1 recently (2021). It only lasted about 4 months. As soon as it got 98% full it stopped working and my phone can't read it anymore.

BRILLIANT TRUSTED BRAND - PURCHASED FOR LENOVO YOGA TAB 3 PLUS
Brilliant brand that works well. Purchased for Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus - I used it as internal memory so apps etc can be transferred to it. I didn't have much on the SD card only music copied from another device and some of the tablets apps. So when I did a factory reset I left it in and it wiped everything off, which is what i wanted and I was pleasantly surprised that i was able to use the SD card in another device ( this was a worry for me when I used it as internal memory for the tablet as it gives a warning that by doing so that you cannot use the SD card in any other device) I am not a techie person so while others may not be excited by this fact, I was and very happy that I can use the SD card in my phone.

Defective after 2yrs
The card worked flawless up to about last month when it stopped working. The phone no longer recognise the card and when place on my PC carf reader I was able to read and create a backup. I tried to use sdformat software without success. After reading on sandisk forums I've learned that the card has ability to lock itself permanently to prevent data loss and not able to write on it anymore therfore no format could ever be performed.The beauty with this brand is that you have a longer warranty and now I'm waiting for a replacement from SanDisk.Hope this find useful!

Will not work with my camera
Took a gamble, bearing in mind past reviews, for my camera, and it appears I have lost. Tried to use the camera’s format option, and it crashed out. Formatted it in two other format options “NTFS” and “exFAT” to no avail with the camera, tried with two computers, one “WIN 7” one “WIN 10” both recognized the card and was saved to with a text doc. So I have brought an expensive memory stick without the options of a stick. The ratings are my experience so far so cannot be my final experience with the card.
