We bought two of these to use as runner for our stairs. The quality is great and looks beautiful on our stairs we purchased 2 and the installer cut one to match! Looks great!

This is a really nice heavy weight rug, comparable to potterybarn style. I placed it in our mudroom where there is high traffic and it has performed perfectly, taking everyday wear and tear from kids running in from our garage area. It's a little rough, but the more it's walked upon, the softer it gets over time.Great for an entryway where you are wearing shoes anyway. The rug is attractive, durable and functional. The back of the rug is covered in a non-slip coating, which works quite well with the high traffic and stays in place. The only caveat is the initial chemical smell. For us, we are just passing through our mudroom, but I would be Leary of the smell if it were placed in a room where you were going to be breathing the chemical smell for prolonged periods of time. Not sure if it is the rug or the rug backing. It does start to go away after a while, but beware if you are sensitive to odors. You might need to leave it out in a garage to air out for a while. This is the only reason O gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase and would buy it again.

The rug was heavy natural fiber rug. However, it had a rubber coating on the back which was fabulous and it had a material edging to keep the fiber from sticking out all over the place like other natural rugs. Unfortunately, I had to return it since it was a bit long for the space and I worried about cleaning it. It was going in a laundry room and spanned in front of the sink where I feed my dog and wash his beard, wash his paws after going to the park and give him a bath. I think it would have been hard to keep clean. In a normal hallway it would have been gorgeous and worn really well!!!! I thought about another room to put it in just so I could keep it, but I just didn't have the right spot.

I use this in my gally kitchen and it very cushioning on my feet - jute material very durable and easy to clean

I was pleasantly surprised with this area rug. We needed an 8'x11' area rug that wasn't too expensive and this one was the perfect price. We were looking for something a little more traditional but decided on this one due to it's size and it's ability to go with almost anything. When we received it it was wound so tightly that I thought they had shipped the wrong size. We opened it up thinking we would have to repack and return it but found that it was the rug we ordered. We were concerned that the rug would roll on the edges because of being packed so tightly but once we had it positioned, it was perfectly flat. There was not a powerful "new carpet" smell, just a bit of an odor which didn't seem to be there the morning after we placed it. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this carpet again.

Not soft/comfy to sit on it's rough if you need to sit on the floor I recommend laying a blanket over the rug. It is cute, but I feel it's hard for my vacuum to suck up all the debris. One good thing is it has already had 2 spills, the rug does not soak up the spills it simply holds it above surface, just need a towel and it's and easy clean up!

I like the colour and the fact that it's natural fibre. It's not soft but i dont think it's meant to be soft. Easily vacuumed. Dont know about washing cause we just bought it and it's not that dirty yet. But it's perfect for our entryway. I woul've bought the runner size if it had been available in the same colour.

I really love this rug. It is exactly what I was looking for! The ivory color lightens up my living room and the design adds a kind of luxury to it. Highly recommend!
