Easy to change and well worth doing
I have an older Club Car and it had trouble starting, also check the cables to make sure the connections are good.

They worked
The wiring attached to the screw loops looks like it could have been more beefy. With that being said it worked so am happy.

Cart lagged starting then would backfire. New brushes and half pedal depression, no backfire and I was off to the gentlemens club to see my girls. 4 star due to not sure on how long they will last.

Easy install and far cheaper than a new starter
88 Club Car DS Gas, hard to start and intermittent starting issues. Replaced all switches, checked battery and solenoid, checked ground and cleaned all connections, Troubleshooting led to starter brushes worn down almost 1/3. Replaced and cart seems to start fine....time will tell.

New starter generator brushes installed in a Club Car
Very good quality. They fit perfectly. Starts much better. Before you reinstall the end of the motor that you removed to install the new brushes. Push each brush up so that each spring is pushing against the side of each brush. The spring in this position will keep the brush from moving down to where it would contact the armature when installed. Once the end of the motor is reinstalled just give each brush a slight tap - one at a time. Make sure you got all four. Each brush will move down against the armature and the spring will then snap down against the top of the brush. Why bother doing this? Otherwise the brushes will interfere with the armature during re-installation and stop it from fitting into place. Before removing the back of the motor draw a straight line with a sharpie across the side so that the end that you are removing and the motor will line up perfectly.

Fit on my G9 Yamaha golf cart
Fit on my G9 Yamaha golf cart. Golf cart was acting up not starting when you stepped on the gas, just a clicking noise from the starter relay. Watched a few videos on how to replace, took a couple of hours to do taking my time to clean the starter generator once I had removed it. I've had these in for a full season now and they seem to be holding up.... update, one year later and two out of the four have worn down to nothing and cart won't run. Save your money and buy a better brand or OEM

Not a perfect fit
They were not a great fit and because of that one kept getting stuck on the spring. I have since replaced them with a different brand.
