BEST EVER. This is THE best robe I have ever purchased.

I bought this robe for my mother for Christmas. She owned a gift shop for 25 years, so we don’t give gifts lightly in my family. I was anxious to find the best robe I could for her, but this robe met my high standards. I’d contemplated an L.L. Bean robe that was more expensive and only got this when that continued to be sold out, but I’m glad it was.The robe is extremely soft and hasn’t lost its luscious feel despite multiple washes. Some robes sort of go flat and lose their fluffiness, but this did not. The color is vivid, but not lurid, and it hasn’t faded after being washed with cold water for its first two washes. There were a few little linty bits when it initially arrived, but I think with basically anything this fluffy, that’s bound to happen. There weren’t a ton of them and it didn’t continue to shed, as some fuzzy things I’ve bought in the past have.My mother is a tall woman, so she’s never had the luxury of a long robe almost to the floor to keep her legs warm in the winter. It’s a main factor for why I bought this specific robe. I wanted her covered and I wanted her cocooned in softness. Mission accomplished! Even on her, the robe hit just a bit above the ankle, and she loves how cozy it is.I’m not sure how they made the hood, but it’s cut in such a way that... I don’t know how describe it. It’s like it wants to be on your head. Some hoods have a tendency to slide off or indifferently stay plopped where you put them until you agitate them. This robe’s hood is cut so that when you pull it over your head, it sort of... cradles it and you feel the slight weight of it around your head. It doesn’t “want,” to fall back. It’s very secure, without needing a string to tighten it light a hoodie would.The collar is thick and luxurious feeling. It overlaps, which has been a concern with previous robes I and my mother have had. As well-endowed women, some robes don’t have wide enough collars to be able to comfortably overlap over our chests, and our necks and collarbones can get surprisingly cold, leading us to have to clench the fabric together, which is a pain. She doesn’t have to do that with this robe. The cuffs are also thick and fluffy and cover her wrists, which has been an issue due to her height.Less than a month after getting this present, my mother was diagnosed with cancer; her issues with temperature regulation made more sense then. Chemo causes more of those problems in some people. This robe has been indispensable to her in the months since. She’s currently on a trip to her specialists and packed the robe. Often hotel rooms are cold and A/C systems are finicky; this robe is insurance for her. It’s also large enough to function as a throw on top of her covers if need be. For its size and warmth, it’s pretty light, which makes it a solid pick for travel as well.Despite me being petite, I believe I’ll get myself a robe as well; in my size it seems it would be just above the ground, and as I like the warmth of the full length full coverage style as well, that’s a big plus in my book. I tend to stick with just one heavy robe for about every six or seven years or so, so me choosing this is a big endorsement from me. Also, being from such a conscious gift-giving family, where every gift has meaning and thought behind it, considering it one of my best successes in several years is no small feat. I rarely leave five star reviews and am pretty picky, if I’m honest, but I cannot recommend this more.

I'm 5'3, 144lb, bought a medium and it's a perfect fit. Hits right at the ankle bone, so no dragging on the ground, and not too short either. I often end up with sleeves too long and buy petite stuff for that reason, but these are just right for me. It's not so big that it looks sloppy or matronly, but if you like a roomier fit then just size up. Unbelievably soft and plush. Not too lightweight, it's a good thickness without feeling overly hot, just cozy. The inner tie is a bit slick because it's like ribbon, so it can take a second to get it tied securely, I wouldn't think it'd be a big deal to remove it and stitch a different fabric to tie the inside if that bugs you. The hood is fine in terms of size, some folks seem to think it's too small, I guess I have a normal size head so it works for me. I have never bought a robe with a hood, but it does feel nice to put the hood up after you get out of the shower and your hair is damp, especially being December. Having said that, this isn't a robe I would wear year round. I like a lighter weight cotton or jersey robe in warm weather. If you are looking for a cozy soft as heck robe to cuddle up in at the end of your day, or to lounge in on days off, this is just perfect. I'm thinking of buying another in a different color.

This robe is incredible. The length is perfect, it's super cozy and soft, and it's incredibly warm. Be aware that if you live in a hot climate or just keep your house very warm, you will overheat in this robe. I can wear it outside in the winter in Colorado and it's warmer than my winter coat.

First, I really wish Amazon would stop allowing sellers to use pictures that don’t match the actual items being sold. This isn’t the first time I’ve purchased something only to discover, upon receipt of the item, that it is not at all the item pictured on Amazon, though it’s strikingly similar. So, if you’ve read this far you’ve probably surmised that this item is not as pictured. I ordered the green. It is not an olive green, as is suggested in the photos on Amazon; it is a light lime green. Not a bad color but certainly not the color pictured; and I don’t care what device you use to view the listing (in other words, the color difference can’t be explained away with the standard “colors may differ depending on your monitor/device” disclaimer). Next, the hood is really small. I’m short, and though the hood fits, it JUST fits. Oh, and I ordered a large! For reference, I’m 5’3” and currently 140lbs or less. I ordered up in size because I wanted space and comfort and to be nice and warm and fully covered. And while the robe is certainly large enough to fit comfortably, the size is definitely NOT as described/expected. I could’ve easily ordered an XL and I might’ve gotten the fit I was looking for. Oh, and the inside tie — it’s thin and flimsy. Maybe it would last, but I would be shocked if it didn’t have to be reattached at some point soon. Also, the material is very soft but the robe is incredibly lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy enough at all. That said, I stepped onto my covered porch wearing it over sweats and a long sleeve shirt on a 53-degree, windy, rainy fall day and I felt warm enough. Finally, to circle back to the size, please note that the large does not touch the floor when I’m wearing it, and again, I’m 5’3”. It’s a good 1 to 2” off the floor. That is okay for me because it reduces the chances (albeit only slightly perhaps) of me tripping on the robe. But if I were concerned about that I could’ve ordered my normal size (a small or medium) and/or planned to have it hemmed. I don’t know whether this will stay or go. I need more than one robe, and this is certainly not the worst one I’ve ever tried. But it’s disappointing nonetheless as it is NOT AS DESCRIBED. And, frankly, it’s kind of pricey for the quality you get.

This is so soft and comfy! Wonderfully long enough...I am 5'9...and it is well made for sure! The colour is also exactly as in pix. So happy with this ! Washed and it came out flawlessly!

I was really excited about receiving my new dressing gown, I read the reviews and was confident with getting it, I saw it would fit me but touch the ground near enough as I’m only 5ft 3, so I’m happy about that despite ordering a large and not an Xl.I’ve only worn it for 3 days and one pocket has already ripped which is annoying as I’ve only put my phone in it a couple of times!The colour isn’t green, it’s olive but the pictures show the colour quite well I think. It is soft, it is warm, it is long oh and the sleeves aren’t too long which is good! The hood is close to being snug but I have a small head yet a lot of hair.I am happy about the dressing gown, just not impressed with the stitching on the pockets but I understand that it’s hard to have to touch stitching on them due to the material.

ich liebe diesen bademantel. beste anschaffungvever für flauschigkeitsfanatiker wie mich. der stoff ist schön dick und hochwertig. einziger nachteil davon sind die ausmaße, wenn man den mantel mitnehmen möchte. größe xl reicht mir als 1.76m großer mensch genau bis zum boden (aber ohne zu schleifen) und hat eine angenehme, lange ärmellänge, sodass man richtig das gefühl hat, in dem bademantel versinken zu können.

My daughter loves it, I got her the burgundy one and putting up the hood makes it super cuddly, it's thick and very long it comes to above her ankles so with the booty slippers I got her she's one toasty happy young lady.

Dieser Mantel ist einfach nur zum Wohlfühlen. Da ich ihn knöchellang wollte wollte ich ihn in L bestellt. Bei einer Körpergröße von 159 cm geht er etwas über die Knöchel hinaus. An den Schultern passt er perfekt, ist aber sehr breit ansonsten, was mich persönlich nicht stört.Die Farbe ist etwas blasser als abgebildet, dennoch sehr schön.Wirklich super warm und angenehm zu tragen, wie er nach der ersten Wäsche sein wird bleibt noch abzuwarten. Im großen und ganzen klare Kaufempfehlung als Morgenmantel, gerade für kühlere Tage und Wohnungen, ist einfach super bequem und gemütlich :)
