Frankie Seat Belt Adjusting Clip (4-Pack) - Portable, Travel Size

Have tried several brands of the plastic belt clips and the few that worked at all tended to slide as I was driving after a period of daily use. The plastic would stretch a bit making it unable to remain stable on the belt as I drove. These metal ones are great. They don't move! The only drawback I can find with these is that they are so fixed in their placement. If you fluctuate between wearing heavy clothes and lighter fabrics it is hard to fasten the seat belt when your are in heavy duds. I have the clip adjusted to be nice and secure in normal weight clothing so when I have to wear a coat I have to struggle some to get my belt hooked up, but I'd rather this be the case than to stop and readjust it. It is not the easiest to adjust and to find just the right setting for secure comfort is vital as I am in and out of my car a lot. This pack of 4 might actually last me through my future. I can't see them breaking or falling off and getting lost.

The Seat Belt Adjusting Clip pack arrived on time and in good condition. Once placed, it stays put. It doesn't slide by itself. I've tried the plastic types, they don't seem to last like this metal clip. This is very durable and affordable. I've read other reviewers saying that this doesn't slide easily, I for one don't want it to slide easily, and it isn't hard to adjust this anyways, it takes a few seconds to remove and install. This clip is very simple, probably invented with the seat belt, but it is very effective. I recommend this product. I rate this a 5 star.

I bought these to set up in my cars as a cheap 3 point safety harness, just for daily driving. I had another brand in the past and they stayed in place. These slide around no matter how I adjust them. They work well until they start sliding. Best Value doesn't always mean the best product. You get what you pay for.

I needed some clips to help put two dog car seats in my vehicle since they did not come with them. I had used the clips before on baby car seats but none of the stores locally sold just the clips. Since we move the seats between two cars, this 4-pack was just what was needed and a great value. They are constructed of high strength steel and appear to be anodized. Once in place they hold the seat belt just where needed. The only issue is that it takes a bit of maneuvering to get the straps through the clips and adjusting takes a bit of effort as they don't move easily once in place. Given the simple design and the fact they do hold as expected, they met our needs.

I have an old car with back seats that don't ratchet tight if pulled out all the way or to fast. These allowed me to install two car seats with ease.

I have tried to return this item because as far as I can tell, it does NONE of the things it claims to do. However, the day after attempting installation, one of the clips flew off and lodged itself between the seat and seat back so deeply that it took me more than the closure window to extract. So, now I have 4 useless hunks of metal that came in crappy torn packaging that I'm pretty sure someone else already opened and returned.Long story short, don't waste your time or money. Little plastic clips work great (just to clarify, NOT these) and are easy to use. On the plus side, I guess if I ever get tired of playing washers with round metal disks, we could try it with these also useless metal plates.

Hi it took me a long time to come around and write this review, it seems if everything works well we barely take note of it but when something doesn't work we get angry and right away want to "let them have it". Well this adjusting clips were bought to properly install a safety baby car seat in my mother-in-law's car which is old and doesn't have anchors to use the latching option.We installed the seat on the center part of the back seat using the center shoulder-lap-safety-belt. The safety belts in this car lock only when there's a sudden stop so we had to clip it so it would stay tight all the time. It was a real struggle, but that had nothing to do with the clips. In fact if it weren't because of the clips there would have been no way to install the seat in a safe manner. The clips are very sturdy and feel heavy, so I think they are of very good quality. The price for a 4 pack is very good also. We use only one clip and have three extra ones in case one bends (I don't think this will happen since we've had no trouble for three months already) or if we have to install another car seat. I greatly recommend this item, at least for the use we bought it for. I am a regular buyer, I didn't receive any disccount or anything like that.

I am 5' 2" and constantly have to keep moving the seatbelt away from my neck no matter where I sit in a car. I have used a few other types of seatbelt clips before, but they tended to come undone or break. These clips are not quite as convenient to use as the plastic snap type, but once they are on, they stay on. Their cost was less than the other types, and they come in a four-pack so that I have them for other cars too! LOVE THEM!

Very solid, much stronger and more effective than the plastic ones. And they stay put.
