3M Medipore H-Soft Cloth Surgical Tape

Good stuff! Exactly like the kind used in hospitals. Unlike paper, plastic, or even ‘cloth’ tape, medipore tape allows the skin to breathe. I have extremely sensitive skin. Most tapes and adhesives cause blisters for me, but medipore tape never has. Highly recommend. It has good hold, too.

This tape holds to the skin really well, doesn't peel off accidentally, and comes off easily with low/minimal residue without irritating the skin. Also, it is perforated every 2" inches, so although it is incredibly strong, you don't need scissors, but can easily rip off exactly how much you need. It's also made from porous cloth fibers, so it breathes well. Only con I can think of is that it does NOT cut well with scissors, but with the nice perforations, this really isn't a big deal.Can't recommend it highly enough for applications such as repeated taping and un-taping of gauze over the same wound or portion of skin.

My husband's recent bout with cancer treatments required enteral feedings and a G-tube implanted. He likes to keep it covered with gauze pad when not in use to keep the area clean and keep his clothes from pulling on the tube. The 3x3 pad is secured with this tape around all edges. It holds very securely and we tried various tapes before finding this one that doesn't itch his skin or turn it red. This tape also has measured perforations that can easily be torn and not cut apart. No matter the length, it stays together once in place and does not separate. The cloth is porous and allows the skin to breath. We have a roll of the 2" and the 1". After many other tape disasters, this is the one I will always buy.

This works in a pinch and the value is right; for sensitive skin it's probably the bomb; but honestly had to use a lot as the adhesive is a little on the light side...had some difficulty securing the padding at time. Overall, a decent product and a reasonable price.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I recently had a drain tube put in (sorry if TMI, but its important) and when they bandaged me up with the gauze underneath it, this is the tape that they used. It held better than any other tape I've ever tried before (and my mother was a nurse for 30 years, so I've tried a lot of different medical supplies!)UNTIL.... it got wet in the shower and I had to change everything. :(I will say, I probably could have left this tape on and it would have dried just fine, because it was still hanging on tight even after getting wet, but since I had to change the gauze, the old tape had to go too. So after trying a couple other kinds from the local pharmacy, I ordered this roll and prayed it was the same thing! Glad I did!!This tape is soft, breathable, flexible, sticky (but not sticky enough that it pulls terribly when you take it off), and is SO much more comfortable than the others I've tried! And it laaaaaaaaaaasts so much longer! I've had the same tape on for almost a week now, and its still holding strong.My only complaint about this versus the one that the hospital used? This one is perforated. BUT the perforations are pretty strong (it doesn't tear too easily), so it still gets 5 stars from me. I'm a fan! This will be staying in the first aid box once I'm no longer needing it!This is, without a doubt, the best medical tape you could buy if you need something that is comfortable, good for long term use, doesn't rip your skin apart when taking it off, and holds tight, even if it gets wet.

I use the tape to keep my mouth closed when I am sleeping wearing my cpap. Th2inch width is perfectIt also has perforations which makes getting the desired length (2 sqares for me) easy to tear off. It removes cleanly with no leftover adhesive.Works for just what I need. Love it!

I am a nurse doing wound care for multiple residents daily. I have found this tape to be much more effective than the paper tape the nursing home provides. Adhesion is very good and the Medipore tape conforms much better to irregular surfaces. A small price to pay for much better performance.
