The PSU is just awesome, build quality is top notch
The PSU is just awesome, build quality is top notch. EVGA 600B series is a non-modular PSU, but at this price range it is awesome. Go for it.

Overpriced
Overprice for a bronze rated PSU..50-70$ PSU is nearly 200$ here in INDIA.

Great power supply, but one word of caution.
Great power supply, fully modular is AMAZING! Small size, and easy to work with. Had a little problem getting satisfying clicks from the cables, but they were connected. The only down side is the "Eco Mode". It's supposed to run it in "near silent operation at low loads" which is awesome in theory, but here's how it really works. At low loads it turns off the fan entirely, which sounds great. Then as heat builds over time it turns on the fan AT FULL BLAST for a couple seconds, then off again. This leads to a once-in-a-while loud whir sound that is hard to find, since it's already stopped.Turn the Eco Mode off, and the fan just runs at super low speeds. It's next to silent like that anyway, and there's no intermittent FULL BLAST from the fan.Great purchase!

Excellent For The Price
This ATX EVGA PSU is everything that I need. Power supplies these days must be rated a minimum 80+ Bronze or don't bother getting one. As a non-modular PSU all the cables are pre attached, and you get 2 x 3 SATA, 20+4 Motherboard, 4 + 4 CPU, 3 x Molex, 1 x Floppy and 1 x 6 +2 PCIE connectors. You've got everything you need for a good mid to high end gaming PC. The one issue you may have about these cables are they are not sleeved. So if you have a windowed case and are trying to co-ordinate the colouring, it could look ugly, you can always by sleeves for the cables. But my system does not have a window and therefore I don't care.Everything comes well packaged, and wrapped up neatly, I had no concerns upon opening the box and worrying if anything was damaged or even scratched, excellent.I like to test out PSUs before installing them to make sure they're working, so in order to do this you need a paperclip (or something similar), and you need to connect a green and black wire up together. But with this PSU, EVGA sent out a handy attachment that you simply clip on to the end of the 20 + 4 motherboard connector and fire it up, it's a fantastic addition. At the moment I am running this in a system that has no dedicated graphics card, and therefore when idle, the fan on the PSU does not spin up. It only spins when I am drawing the maximum CPU load when rendering, so the power efficiency seems to work really well. This PSU will be able to power a GTX 780 TI, 970s and 980s with ease and the R9 290(X) as well, but don't expect to be able to run SLI/Crossfire with this PSU.Overall this is a great PSU for the mid to high end gamer, and for when you are just watching a film or browsing the internet this PSU is really efficient, it's a great power supply.

More than happy with this PSU.
Bought for a new build as detailed below:Went with Intel Skylake setup as the prices weren't much different from previous Haswell and it will be a more future proofed system. Took my time installing all the components and installing Windows 8.1. I now have a fast to boot and pretty much silent PC for browsing and office duties (so no need for a graphics card). Most likely overkill for this basic PC spec, but I wanted quiet and a brand with a good reputation. Fitted easily in the case and the cabling was long enough to reach every installed component. 3 year warranty to boot.Very happy with this PSU.Complete setup: ASRock B150M Pro4S S1151 mATX Intel Motherboard Intel Pentium i3 Dual-Core i3-6300 3.8 GHz Processor CPU HyperX FURY 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) 2133 MHz DDR4 CL14 DIMM Memory Kit (Skylake Compatible) - Black EVGA 100-B1-0500-KR - 500W 80 Plus Bronze Power Supply (100-B1-0500-KR) SanDisk Ultra II SSD 240 GB Sata III 2.5-inch Internal SSD up to 550 MB/s Western Digital WD10EZEX 1TB SATA lll Desktop SATA Drive - Blue Cooler Master SIL-352M-KKN1 Silencio 352 "USB3.0, Silent, SD Card Reader, Mini Tower Case" BlackASRock B150M Pro4S S1151 mATX Intel MotherboardIntel Pentium i3 Dual-Core i3-6300 3.8 GHz Processor CPUHyperX FURY 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) 2133 MHz DDR4 CL14 DIMM Memory Kit (Skylake Compatible) - BlackEVGA 100-B1-0500-KR - 500W 80 Plus Bronze Power Supply (100-B1-0500-KR)SanDisk Ultra II SSD 240 GB Sata III 2.5-inch Internal SSD up to 550 MB/sWestern Digital WD10EZEX 1TB SATA lll Desktop SATA Drive - BlueCooler Master SIL-352M-KKN1 Silencio 352 "USB3.0, Silent, SD Card Reader, Mini Tower Case" Black

After my 1 year old 500W PSU went pop on me, I decided to start looking for a new one with a reasonable price, and after a short time I realized I actually needed to acquire a branded one with a warranty at least and of course with a good reputation in order to avoid a second disaster, I was so lucky my other PC component did not get toasted. The reason why my old PSU failed is due to upgrading to my new GPU (ASUS R9 270) and I thought 500W wouldn't be enough to power up my PC after what happened, but when I came across this EVGA 500W PSU, I changed my mind especially after reading the review, so I went for it and I was lucky to receive it next day even after choosing free delivery which takes 3-5 days.In general, this is a good quality product with a reasonable price which does the job!! it's so quite and has a 3 year warranty on it, and it's from a well known company which produces some really good quality stuff! what more could I ask for? lolPC specificationsCPU; AMD FX 6300 (6 core)GPU ASUS R9 270 ( requires q 6 pin)RAM: 6gb2 SATA HDDit all runs smooth and steady,Hopes my review helps someone
