Q: I have two black wires and a ground. I used my meter and one black is 120V, other must be the neutral as 0 Volts. Will this still work?

Legally speaking you have to have a neutral in the box 12/2 romex or 14/2 romex is standard in residential and you can’t just strip the neutral and run it straight to the light, typically the neutral is just tapped straight through with a wire nut but a single pole switch only uses the hot side but this one requires one to run the display and software

Q: Timer doesn't go to automatic mode even though it's been programmed how do I correct this

I know there is a switch, and I believe if you hold in the face/Button for a few seconds, that may solve your problem and get "automatic" mode activated.

Q: I just got this timer. It has a blue, black and white wires. My box only has a black, a blue, and a green ground wire. How do I wire it?

If you doubt call an electrician. The configuration requires 4 wires in your box. 1.- Line in (black) 2.- Line out (blue) 3.- Neutral (white) 4.- Green (Ground). Missing one of this wires, the sustem didn’t work. Now in your box: 1.- Line power in ( generally black, Old constructions White) . 2 Power out or switch leg ( Black, Red or White(Marked)) 1.- Black on switch, Goes to power in. 2.- Blue on switch, goes to switch leg 3.- White to Neutral 4.- Green to Bare ground. If is not existent, Need rewire your installation for 2020 compliances first.

Q: Is this able to be used in a duel pole set up?

The 730 needs two neutral wires and two load wires in order to be installed. If you have a single pole with one load and one neutral then the 530 is the model you need. There are also no instructions for doing a three way wire set-up on the 730. The 530 allows for that too.
