Reliable Comfort
Always liked the real leather moccasins as there always comfortable and let your feet breathe with or without socks. Reliable hard wearing soles so they can be worn indoors or outdoors. First pair lasted 8-9 years, bit less now as I have them on much more each day but still really reliable and comfortable and would recommend them to all ages

Sizing all wrong
These looked brilliant when they arrived. Very happy with the look and feel. But the size was way out. Ordered a size 10 - I normally have no problems with shoe sizes as my feet seem to be pretty much the median of a size 10. But these were way too long. I wondered if I had been supplied an 11, but the labelling said 10.As I said, other than size, these looked spot on quality items.

Good but soles too thin
I used to wear these sort of moccasins years ago when I used to buy them from our local market. In those days they had a thickish sole with a slight heel and could reasonably be worn both as a slipper and to a pop out to the local shop etc. These are fine and seem well made (if a little larger than I expected, despite the warning about tight fit) and the fact that they don't have a lining (fabric or fleece) is a bonus as there's nowhere for the smelly foot odour microbes to colonise. However, the sole is so thin that even in the house you can feel the gaps between the floorboards and if you dared to wear them outside (as described) you'd feel every stone, divot and blade of grass. So, prompt delivery, great vfm as an indoor slipper, but be careful of sizing or if you want them as an outdoor shoe.Would I buy again?... yes, but only as a slipper.

Good value
Traditional moccasins but with a man-made sole. This means I can step outside without them getting soggy if it's raining or me yelping when I stand on a stone. If you like warm and fluffy then look elsewhere but if like me, you need something practical to protect your toes from those vicious chair legs then these work well. No textile lining means there's nothing to fray on the inside or make my feet hot. I haven't had them long enough to judge how they last but the traditional design stitching should protect the stitches from scuffs. The leather is supple. If you want more comfort underfoot then add an insole.

Just What I Wanted
Very good value British made leather slippers. They are comfortable and as described. The sizing is 'generous' so slightly on the loose side for me.Prompt delivery. The proof of quality will, of course, depend on how well they wear, which I cannot comment on having only just bought them, but they look well made and durable.Addendum: The first pair were just too loose so I've bought another pair a size smaller and they fit better. A bit tight at the moment but I'm confident the leather will stretch/give.I wish th elaces were less smooth and stayed tied better but overall they are really nice and super value

Simple slippers made with care in Northampton
These unlined slippers are well made, with hide uppers secured onto a non-slip rubbery sole. Fit is loose on my feet but they are wide enough for comfort, and sturdy enough for an occasional trip into the garden. A reasonable cost, and made locally to me, which is something I now choose wherever possible. I have lived in these since I received them a month ago, and no sign of wear and tear.

4th Pair
I don't like fur lined slippers as my feet sweat, so these are ideal. My previous purchases have all been too large. Last time I ordered a size smaller and even these were too large after being used for a while. This time I almost ordered two sizes smaller, but then forgot at the last minute. It was fortunate. This pair are tight, though I know that they will stretch and I am therefore happy with them.I would have given them 5 stars but the inside sole lining has come out after a few months in every pair so far.

They are comfortable as slippers and tougher
I have worn this version of slipper for more than ten years in office, house and garden. They are comfortable as slippers and tougher. Not to hot, not to cold. You can kick them off and slip them back on again easily. This style is better than the non lace-up variety because moccasin slippers stretch and you can tighten these and use them for longer. They should be very slightly tight when you put them on new.
