PMP Exam Prep: Accelerated Learning to Pass the Project Management Professional Exam, Ninth Edition(Old Edition)

The media could not be loaded.  Looks like some one have used it before.I bought this as my exam of pmp is in few weeks, so I am keeping it but people spending loads of money to buy this so please provide satisfactory product to consumers it's a shameful act buy seller.

I passed my PMP Test with only the PMBOK 6th edition and this book of RMC (Rita Mulcahy Co) to guide me. Below are some pointers for future PMP test takers:1) While the exercises at the end of each chapter of the book are very useful, do not expect exactly the same questions in the test.2) It is extremely useful to review the reasons behind the answers of the exercises. If you choose an answer with the wrong rationale, the gaps will remain and will almost certainly impact your score on the exam.3) PMP is a very strategic test. It is very useful to review Rita’s guidelines which extend beyond the regular chapters of the book. Do review Preface, Exam Tips, Professional and Social responsibility chapter, etc.4) Finally, this book distills the essentials of PMBOK 6th edition and provides added value in some cases. However, it’s highly recommended to read the PMBOK at least once, before writing the test

1. Read this book to get a clear knowledge about how project management is done in real life. The book has 411 questions and answers to knowledge your understanding.2. For PMP exam DO refer the PMBOK so that you know the Inputs, Tools and Techniques and Outputs. Because this book has not used the ITTO's as the way they are in PMBOK.3. DO various mock tests and while doing so sit for 4 hours as if you are in a real PMP exam. Real PMP exam questions are heavily scenario based and wordy and trust me its difficuilt. Practice reading questions and try to solve 200 questionswithin 4 hours and have some time spare to review few random questions.Best of luck

Quality of the pages is great. Lucky that I Received the book in good condition.It’s Better to send such books in carton box or else it will be damaged.

A lot has already been said & written about this book & it does not need any introduction. This book has simplified PMBOK in the best way possible, & is a good way for understanding process flow. Although this alone cannot lead you to clear PMP as it lacks ITTO’s.PMBOK & a exam simulator is needed in conjunction with this book.

One of the best books available in the market for pmp preparation.The concepts are clearly written. Only drawback is that, this book is more of a theory than practicality. The inputs or outputs could have been separated in different paragraphs with clear headings but all are written in one para in many knowledge areas. Nonetheless one of the best book to refer for PMP preparation.

Received it in a perfect condition - I have been using since Feb n it still looks brand new, besides it’s a must read for PMP preparation.
