Solid trays that will hold up to 15 standard sized dominoes
If you ever played Dominoes, you know how hard it is to keep your dominoes sorted and ready to play. The wife and I are retired and tend to play dominoes quite often here at the lake with other retired folks in the area. I was looking for some solid holders and these fit the bill. Our dominoes are the standard sized ones - not jumbos. These trays work perfectly. Being made of wood, they are solid and each row will hold 5 dominoes. With 3 rows, you can get 15 dominoes to sit on one tray.The box comes with 4 trays. After using these trays for a while, I ordered a second set because we frequently have more than 4 of us playing. So, for us, these are great trays, they get a lot of use, and I expect them to last forever.

Work well in Mexican Train game!
Bought two sets to use in 8-player Mexican Train games. Trays will hold 15 dominoes if placed on their sides, or 30 if placed upright on their ends (hard to read that way though). The trays are made of raw wood. Would recommend lightly sanding and clear coating them to preserve their edges and prevent soiling or staining. Otherwise, they're great!

Makes playing Mexican Train a lot easier
After being introduced to Mexican Train by my neighbor, I had to get a set of dominos to play at home. However, after struggling with lining up the dominos on my table and having them tumble over -- sometimes showing my opponent what I've got -- I was delighted to come across this product. Being able to sort thru the various permutations and get them lined up into trains (without falling over) has made playing this game much more enjoyable.I'm a fan of natural products, especially wood. These trays are simple and sturdy. The slots are nicely angled. We have not encountered any splinters, one problem with some wood products. We were so pleased with the first set (of four) that we immediately ordered another set for those occasions when three or four of us are playing.

Better For Organizing Strategic Moves
I just bought the Train Dominos for my daughters family along with the dominos holders. It made reading and organizing the dominons so much easier. Great price. Well constructed. Need to buy a set for myself.I would like to see a numbered Mexican Train Dominon Set with the domino holders all together in one storage container. Easier for storage.

They Hold Dominoes
We use these wooden trays together with the Cardinal Dominoes. The trays are not necessary, but the dominoes we use are a bit thin so these are helpful for play on something like a card table. Of course, some people just prefer to use these sorts of trays to organize their dominoes, especially for games like Mexican Train.The dominoes, held vertically or horizontally stand up just fine in these racks. The pips are not seriously obscured either way. On sale, these trays look nice, work fine, and they will likely last a long time. We probably will never need to buy a second set of four trays, but I would certainly purchase these again as gifts.

Perfect for Mexican Train dominoes
This is four solid pieces of unfinished wood. No splinters were found but I did take a quick 220 grit sandpaper to the edges of them just in case. The bottoms of the dominoes are slightly obscured. All three rows are straight back. The back rows are not raised. The item description was 100% accurate. It holds 15 laid down or 30 upright dominoes comfortably. Perfect for Mexican Train dominoes.

No more cardboard but wood
Before these babies my girlfriend and I showed up to my parents house to play Mexican train. When we left my girlfriend thought my parents were running out of money because they made their domino holders out of cardboard. I sprung into action and bought these babies. FACT, these are made out of wood. Question, should I buy them,, HA, Answer Yes especially if your family is making your holders out of cardboard.

Love the Ideal Domino Trays
We used these trays the last time that the grandkids were over and absolutely love them. When you have an active 12 year old boy playing dominos you can be sure that he will bump the table many times and the dominos will all fall over. These trays solved the problem and made for a much better experience for everyone.
