Love this mop head!
Is it really possible to love a mop head? I guess if you're constantly cleaning up messes, it would be pretty easy to mistake dependence for love... hmmm... I guess I should think a little harder about that one. Nonetheless, I really do like this mop head. It is so much better than their previous version. The scrubby little sponge bit on the bottom would separate from the sponge and leave a mess. So far this newer one does not seem to have that issue. Better glue? Higher quality spongy bits? I don't know, but it just nicer all around. We have tile floors throughout the house, so this is great for quick clean-ups and full-out moppings. It fits the handle just like the old version, so everything is good there. I like it and would recommend it over the cheaper knock-offs.

Inferior Junk Not Suitable for Floor Cleaning
If you look on the O-Cedar web page, instructions for replacing the refill, you will see a somewhat different refill illustrated: one with a full thickness blue sponge that has a front-edge scrubbing strip. O-Cedar should remove that illustration because such a refill is no longer available. What you get now is a grossly inferior "microfiber" pad with no scrub strip, and that pad is not even full thickness-- it is bonded to an inferior foam block. Wow! Microfiber! That must be terrific stuff for some things, but not for cleaning my kitchen floor. I need the good old fashioned absorbent sponge and scrub strip.I guess the old style refills were TOO GOOD; they had to be discontinued because Homeland Security was afraid terrorists could clean the blood off their floors. Or maybe they were racist or inconvenient for the disabled. The new style refills are junk. I got four of them, and when I saw them, I threw them and the O-Cedar sponge mop in the trash. At least the plastic can be recycled.O-Cedar makes sponge mops with scrub brushes, but the brushes are narrower than the mop and cannot reach into corners like the old scrub strip. Good bye, O-Cedar. For what it's worth, Libman isn't any better.

Refill for a good mop
The O Cedar mop that this mop refill is for is a light-weight, inexpensive mop that I think works very well. I don't know why the store that sells the mop doesn't have the refills. I looked in several different stores and couldn't find the refills anywhere. I'm glad I was able to get them through Amazon. The refills snap easily onto the mop, do a good job cleaning, and last through several floor cleanings - depending on what spilled and how dirty the floor was! A good inexpensive way to clean a floor.

Over priced by a long shot!
These were purchased to use in a cat shelter that gets cleaned every day. The volunteers go through these mops very quickly. If it wasn't for their high price we'd buy more. Since we are nonprofit 501(c) 3 we can't buy much "extra" stuff. House of Dreams Free Roam cat shelter has an Amazon Wish list, though! Feel free to help us out. This is one cheaply made sponge.
I am sorry I wasted my money on this sponge. It is cheaply made and not like my old sponge at all. I can't believe O'Cedar is even putting this out on the market. Very disappointed. Definitively not worth the money. Will not be wasting money on O'Cedar products anymore.

Didn’t fit my mop
I looked for two days to find a replacement mop head for my 5 year old mop handle. I couldn’t find it. O’Cedar must redesign their handles yearly so you have to spend more money on their products. Good luck finding replacement sponge heads for a handle that’s older than a couple of years. You have to buy a new handle just to get a new sponge replacement head. Go figure.
