Useful In Parts, But Information Overload
Information over-load, in parts. The author has very intelligently divided the book into 3 parts. The 1st part discusses the generic history of blood types - how & when & why - and yes it is interesting & necessary. Part 2 is the pulp of the book wherein the diets for each blood type are classified into highly beneficial, neutral & avoid - all very useful; but it is the Part 3, that discusses diseases for each blood type, that is quite unnerving & unnecessary. It can put the person reading it, into fear & panic mode. This is quite quite unnecessary. I am happy to know Part 1 & Part 2, but not Part 3. I stopped reading after I finished Part 2. Everything, everything that the body & mind experiences is not only about the blood type. A lot is on the lifestyle, geography of the place and very important - karma - which actually is the deciding factor for the disease/s that one may have to go through. So dear reader, do yourself the favour, and use your discretion, do not put yourself through even the thought that you might have a certain disease because you are that blood type.

Very good and informative book , only the menu and eating recommendation are majorly American and European , it'll be better if Asian / Indian recommendations are there.

A book everyone should read at least once
If you don’t like to read, the book has a visual chart. Great for individuals seeking more information about themselves.

The book is a game changer
Wherever you are at with your health this book gives such a new and interesting perspective. I've been following my blood type suggestions and have had so much more energy as of late. My blood type matches so much of my likes and dislikes that I never realized were related to my blood type. If you are looking for a new way of thinking I highly recommend!

Life Changing Thanks to this Book!
I love this book! Where has it been for 40 years of my life? I heard about this diet and life style change back in the late 1990’s, I recall an interview on TV with a famous Friends sitcom actress from American, but it was hard back in those days to find any info on the diet- we didn’t have Amazon back then ;)The way this book explains the science is fantastic and easy to follow. Learning about the human species blood groups is fascinating! It has an entire section on my Blood Type A diet, what exercises my blood type likes best, supplements, meals plans and a 10day kick start plan- and this is for all blood groups! It has case studies on patients who have used the diet to help them with a multitude of illnesses. There is even references on specific things that the blood groups should look out for and help improve if you have symptoms.I’ve been following the Type A diet since Jan 2022 and I feel great. The weight is dropping off me as I type this review. I feel healthier, no more feeling bloated, my skin looks better and I don’t miss red meat or dairy at all as I can eat certain fish, chicken and goats cheese (feta, halloumi), but I am now for the first time in my life predominately vegetarian/vegan. Lucky I live in 2022 where variety of food is so more readily available! My husband is Type O and also started in Jan. He has suffered for years with IBS, bloating and fatigue and now loves this new life style change. He eats plenty of red meat, has stopped eating wheat and dairy which has hugely improved his IBS and tiredness where no other medical prescriptions could. The weight has dropped off him and what’s even better is neither of us are having to count calories, or to stop eating carbohydrates (which is a ridiculous thing to do- and the book explains why!), or to stop eating nice things. Only the other day I ate a plant based waffle with vegan ice cream, maple syrup and strawberries on top- yum!We also purchased the Eat Right 4 Your Type recipes books which has similar meals (just substitute certain ingredients) which makes meal times easy to manage for our two very different blood type diets. There is also The Blood Type Diet app which the book talks about- we downloaded this as it has the list of all the foods and the ability to create a shopping list. Much easier than walking around the supermarket with the book. The only things I would say is you do sometimes have to check the English wording as everything is written in American English. If you don’t know your blood type group you can also purchase a test kit from Amazon! It’s easy to do the test, takes seconds!I love this book so much I’ve recommended it to all my family and friends and I would highly recommend it - even if all you do is read the contents and decide for yourself if the science is compelling enough to make you change!Happy reading!
