Unlike other brands we have tried the Velvetiser made hot drinks HOT, not luke warm. We love it.

It does a good job but it's a small amount. When I make coco I like a bigger mug of it during the snow days. This make a small amount.

I purchased this Velvetiser because of its reviews. It looks like a solid build and the chocolate kit is good quality. Unfortunately for me, the Velvetiser unit is stained. I tried gentle soap, warm water, warm towel, microfiber towel, and unfortunately nothing works. The stain won't go away no matter what I do. Shame! Another problem is I think I got a defective unit because every time I try making hot drink, half of the chocolate nibs are always there (lid on of course). They never completely dissolve with this unit even after the unit turns off on its own and I wait for an additional minute before serving. I really want to love this unit but I just can't considering these problems. I can't return the unit because shipping cost is almost the same as the value I paid for the system. To add insult to injury, out of excitement I also spent another $170 buying all of their chocolate variations. Now I don't have a reliable unit to taste all these delicious drinks. Bummer!

10/10. This is a treat and something I know I'll use until it breaks! Favorite flavor so far is the 70% hot mix.

Not a good investment

I had the older version of the velvitiser but it had been used so much I felt an upgrade was necessary. This one is the perfect upgrade. I use this everyday for my coffee and love the smooth texture of the milk and the perfect pint of froth. The capacity of milk it holds is perfect for me.units use it for their hot chocolate and love it too, so easy to use. It is a tad expensive but I have tried the cheaper versions and finally gave in and don’t regret the upgrade at all. I would recommend this whole heartedly especially if you have a coffee machine and wfh as it is the perfect morning treat without spending too much per day. It works out to be worth every penny.

Brilliant product though very expensive. Unfortunately, box dumped on doorstep in public view not in safe space: no knock or warning. It says handed to resident but it wasn't- untrue (no photo - only of product). Very expensive item to just leave at front door. Trying to complain but impossible on website to find a means... so regrettably putting here. Luckily, found on doorstep and product is excellent so no reflection on the brand!

Great item ( lovely hot chocolate) one star off is the price is a little expensive

Such a lovely concept, and looks great. It makes nice hot chocolate but the problem is cleaning it is a nightmare. I have used it exactly as it says, and with Hotel Chocolate powders/flakes, but for some reason the bottom of it just gets so grubby. You literally have to leave it soaking in water for hours and then scrape off the chocolate leftover bits to get it clean, which is so annoying. It just gets these weird burnt bits at the bottom - don't know if the product I got is faulty or if they all do it. For £150 I expected much better. The photos show what it looks like after having one hot chocolate this morning, soaking it for over 4 hours and then cleaning it. I will have to scrape off the rest of that stuff which takes ages, is annoying, and might end up scratching it.
