Same accuracy as more expensive device.
Very handy and easy to use laser distance meter tool. Compared it with another more expensive device and got the same results.+Clear screen with nice backlight+Intuitive control (easy to operate)+Good competitive price+Same accuracy as other branded devices-Kinda bulky, but that's not a big issue.

Does not do fractions
The product itself is fine for the price. There however is one big flaw. It does not do fractions as you normally would with a tape measure. If you want to convert decimals to fractions all day long, it's fine. However, if you want an output of say 10' 1/4", it will not do that. Also, their return is charging me $7 to return. I bumped down an extra star for that annoyance.

Amazing
I bought this to have a 2nd digital tape measure to keep in the car. I normally carry my expensive Bosch one only when I need it. I've been comparing both of them together and this one is just as accurate for much less money. This one also will measure much further for me. I'm glad I took the chance, it was well worth it.

Nice little laser measurer.
Pretty accurate and comes in a small tiny package. The unit is very easy to use. You can also keep adding to the current distance if you want. Very accurate an useful for me. Comes with a pouch but no batteries (uses AAA batteries).

Extremely easy to use and handy
For for a long time I had been thinking of purchasing a laser measure but I was always skeptical of how accurate that would be however last week I received mine and I checked it out and I was extremely happy with the Precision with which it can measure the distance also it has a nice bright LCD screen which also shows the history so when I am on site I can always keep a track of the different measures. I also like compact design. And it also comes with the nice protective pouch to keep it in which can be attached on my belt as well the instructions are very clear and oral performance is great.

Lightweight, accurate and a great gift or to keep :)
I got this for my dad he is a construction owner and he is now in his early 60s and many things such as measuring or reading small numbers are really difficult for him. So on his birthday I got him this so that he can just measure with a press of a button. I tested out the machine and it’s pretty sweet actually so much easier than using a measuring tape. It’s to the decimal point so you know it is as accurate as it can be. The machine is very easy to use for someone who doesn’t know anything about tools. It comes with a great pouch and inside of a box that I will put a bow on and not even worry about anything else. If you are like me running out of ideas to get you parents or a loved one for holidays or birthdays and you know they are handy this is the ideal item for you I highly recommend it

Says 1.5mm..Actually 7mm or more
Description says it's accurate to 1.5mm but in testing I found it was off 3/10 regularly or ~7mm and as much as 1/2 an inch or ~13mm at distances of 10+ feet. I opened the manual it came with and it says the calibration is accurate to +/-7mm. So by their documentation the meter can be off by 8.5mm (7mm for calibration and another 1.5mm on measuring). I tried recalibrating multiple times but the meter was consistently off by 7mm and sometimes more.It's important to note that when measuring in feet it only measures to the tens position which means at best it will be accurate to 2.5mm.

Great tool just wish the instructions were better.
Torn between 4 star and a 5 star rating. The reason is the instructions are small and were a little confusing at first. But once I took my time and actually tried each option the tool has I found that it is easy to use and it works great.
