Mitutoyo 500-754-20 Digital ABS Caliper Thumb Roller w/o Data Output

You certainly won't go wrong buying a Mitutoyo. Very accurate and robust used in the workshop. Battery life has been excellent and the calipers are accurate to where you left them last time. I will always go for Mitutoyo as they are the best in the market.

Best calipers on the market

I bought my first 12" Mitutoyo dial caliper 20-some years ago and did not hesitate to buy one of their products again.I never trusted the digital calipers I had used in the past but I gave these and shot and am very pleased.They have no sprocket that can jump teeth and throw it off.There is no Zero button because it uses electro-magnetic energy to measure the distance between the jaws.Awesome product.

Caliper itself works great but one of the locating pins/blocks on the case broke in shipping. I know it's a small thing but I didn't buy the cheap calipers I bought nice ones. I don't think it's too much to expect a case that can stand up to a little jostling in shipping.

Solid, super repeatable measurements. Tough enough to deal with the nasty mud in a wellhead cellar without skipping a beat.

The very best I've used in my Lutherie shop over the past 40 years. I do extremely fine woodworking and some machining and tool making. These are simply the best!

Früher hatte man "Made in Japan" noch belächelt, heute kann man froh sein so etwas zu bekommen. Selbst namhafte "deutsche" Messgräte stammen inzwischen größtenteils aus chinesischer Produktion.Der Messschieber ist zwar nicht gerade preisgünstig, aber jeden Euro wert.
