Ok, so I went to polish my work boots last Sunday like I do every Sunday evening and realized I was out. I have been buying the overly priced Kiwi for years. So I went on Amazon to purchase some and RED MOOSE was the first one that popped up. I saw that I could have it delivered in 3 hours, so Bought it (plus I liked the label). It came in less than two hours!! I love the little jar that it comes in but anyway, I put it on my filthy work boots and the way this stuff goes on is amazing. I let the boots sit for about 15 minutes and then got my brush and I was totally amazed at how effortless this stuff is to buff but the killer part is the shine!!! Within about 2 minutes total between the two boots, they looked like my black combat boots when I was in the Marine Corps, all shiny and ready for CO inspection!!! This is the best polish you will ever buy! A little goes a long way and when I came home from work yesterday, naturally my boots were scuffed and dirty so I got my brush out for the heck of it and buffed them a little and damn, the shine came right back! Its amazing that something so simple compelled me to write my first review on Amazon, and I have been a Prime member for years and never wrote one until just now. Thanks RED MOOSE!!!!

I've been shining shoes for 30 years. This is an excellent shoe polish on par with more expensive polishes like Saphir. This is an example (unlike the brushes) where you get what you pay for doesn't apply. The picture here is a single coat of polish. Yep... ONR coat and maybe a 5 minute job. If you want more shine (I don't) add another coat. "Two coats McFly".With that said half of getting a good result is the brushes you use. Get 100% horse TAIL hair brushes. You also need a buffing/shine brush and a finishing brush like the Saphir brush in the picture. Decent brushes may cost you a bit more but the results are worth it and honestly they are easier to use then a buffing rag.Complete your kit like this for pro results, see pics for my full kit:-Borenhair brush for cleaning stubborn dirt off without damaging the finish.-Horse tail applicator or foam applicator(like for car wax) for applying this great polish.-Horse tail hair Buff/shine brush - remove light dust and give yourself a field shine during the day and also for the initial buff after.-A buff rag or microfiber rag also for a final clean before applying polish is a good idea.-Horse Tail Hair Finishing Brush like the Saphir brush shown. This is a more dense brush that will give you a final shine and will rival the "spit shine" you get from a fast buff rag while easily done with one hand.Brushes are one of those things that gets confusing because of how they are marketed. And finding a dedicated shoe care shop may help, you can always come back to Amazon like I do to find the brush after.Also not all boots are created equal, some leather just doesn't take polish or mink oil depending on the grain.

I used this shoe polish cream on my Clark’s shoes, and they look brand new again! It brought back the color and made them look so much cleaner and refreshed. So easy to use and definitely a must-have if you want to keep your shoes looking nice. Highly recommend!
