Diono2019 Radian 3RXT All-in-One Convertible Car Seat (Discontinued by manufacturer)

Bought this for our second child. Our first one didn't like the car or her basic baby carrier/carseat and one of these (one generation older but almost identical) increased her toleration of driving. Same goes for the second child.It's a very strong design. Easy to install and will be used for the life of your child. Easy to take the covers off to clean as well. No need to fret when a diaper explodes or milk gets spilled.My older daughter loves the cup holder. Fits her camel back water bottle which is a little on the large size.It's a bit heavy, but that's due to it being well made with a metal frame.

So far we enjoy this car seat! It feels insanely secure and sturdy which is the most important thing.We have a Ford ST so it’s pretty compact and doesn’t have a lot of space so if you have a small car or don’t have enough space I recommend this one! it came with a cup holder and the padding feels super comfortable as well. I also enjoy the minimalist look of it as it’s not over done like some car seats.The install is a little difficult but I haven’t met a car seat that’s not annoying at install.

This is the 6th diono I’ve purchased. I have 2 children and my own car, my husbands and my mother’s all have these car seats. I wouldnt buy any other. Both my mother and my husband had britax click tights that had to be replaced with these when they broke or stopped working. I love the slim fit within the car. They easily fit side by side and dont crowd into the neighboring seat. They are heavy and a beast to move but they are steel framed so thats not a surprise. Super easy to use the seat belt or latch system too depending on whether your child is rear or forward facing and your vehicle. My 5 yo sat comfortably to 3 1/2 rear facing and could have even longer based on height and weight restrictions. My 2 yo is still easily rear facing. I would recommend this seat to anyone and everyone. Just be warned it is heavy

I'm a big guy, so I can install them but they are big and heavy, and that is WHY I BUY THEM. My wife can do it, but struggles a bit. I love the 3rd tether on these to the floor in reverse seating. They are steel structured, and very solid. I have one for both our of our vehicles. This new one has a cover over the back now which is a bit annoying vs previous versions, but I just leave it unzipped (we still use it rear facing).READ the manual - there are different weight classifications for each belt / seating style, so pay attention to that and these are very good from what I read. I haven't had any incidents (knock on wood), but she likes them and feels secure in them.The nice thing is you can fully remove the covers w/o removing the seatbelts now (unless you need to wash the seatbelts) as kids have accidents, and eat food, etc. in these things.

The quality for this car seat is phenomenal. 2 years ago, we bought a brand new Britax at the same price. It gets transferred back and forth to different cars daily and it is already falling apart. The Britax is pure plastic. We tossed it and replaced it with a Graco. The graco's straps are terrible. They do not loosen or tighten easily and also the graco is pure plastic as well. So I decided to give this one a try. The dino is pure steel. We love it! I drive a small Prius and it fits in the back seat perfectly with seats pushed up a little bit. I am 6 feet tall and my husband is almost 7 feet tall so I was nervous that it was not going to fit with us.Don’t waste your time on other brands. The straps on this one is amazing and comfy for the kiddos. I won’t go to another brand after this seat.

As a parent of four, I have purchased many car seats. This one is the best so far. Very sturdy, comfortable car seat. Even as a seasoned parent, it was a bit complicated to figure out at first though. Definitely not the car seat you want if you need to move it frequently. Very heavy. Fits great in the middle of a mid size SUV rear facing. Could not install behind a seat rear facing unless the seat was up uncomfortably close to the dash or steering wheel. With a ten year expiration, definitely worth the money.

After agonizing over which seat to get my growing baby we came to this one. I've only had it 2 months but this is my opinion so far.Pros:-Fits in the middle seat (rear facing) with two other brand child boosters great! Easy to shut the doors in a small Honda Accord.-Fits great in the back middle seat (rear facing) in a Honda Pilot and F-150 extended cab. 2 grown adults can sit on either side and not feel squished.-Lots of wiggle leg room for growing baby-Removable cup holder is a great feature-Great reviews on safety!-The way the seat folds up is great for storing in the trunk when needed-Little man seems to like new seat and enjoy car rides more!Cons:-Must buy angle adjuster! (Luckily they make it affordable.) Can not rear face anywhere but middle without it. Even in large Suburban. Without it the seat in front has no leg room(and I'm only 5'2")-Install is confusing, had too look up video-Straps to tighten seat to car hooks is hard to pull (maybe will get easier with time?)-Black chest strap covers are very bulky!-Heavy! But should not be a deal breaker.(Did not need infant insert but concerned with large size difference in insert and the side impact head protection, my almost 1yr old is large for his size and his head barely reaches them)Overall I am happy with my purchase and now have 2! One in grandmas car one in mine.

I love Diono. Watch the reviews on YouTube and I’ll say the same. Only problem is it’s really heavy.
