Traduzione semplificata, utile a chi sta imparando inglese
La sta utilizzando una persona che ha alle spalle studi teologici ma non di lingua inglese, i risultati sono stati interessanti. Alcuni passaggi hanno una traduzione che alle volte "suona" meglio della classica Bibbia di Gerusalemme, si sente l'influenza del mondo anglosassone. Di piccole dimensioni, ha pochissime note a margine, ma l'uso di un inglese semplice e moderno permette a chiunque, anche a chi sta imparando la lingua, di comprenderne il significato, soprattutto a chi già ha studiato su una traduzione italiana. Se si sta cercando di migliorare la propria comprensione della lingua inglese può essere una valida alternativa ai classici libri di narrativa graduati A1-B1.

Enjoying “Today’s English Version” very much! Also great size for traveling as well. I prefer this translation among others, besides KJV being the original form, this Bible hits the translation on the nail. Chefs kiss! Great quality as well!

Perfect Travel & Purse Bible
I've been wanting this Bible for a while, and finally got it. I am delighted with it. It is small enough to slip into a purse for easy access. The print is small, but such a clear font, that I don't have any trouble reading it through my bifocals (I do have trouble focusing on other things). There are a few helps in the back (Maps, Septuagint quotes in the New Testament, rudimentary Glossary and Index, Biblical Chronology, brief Book introductions & translator's footnotes) - but not so many helps that they crowd out the text. The translation is easy to read & enjoyable. The binding is glued, not sewn. Since I have an older identically bound Bible in a different translation, I know that this sort of binding will have pages fall out with use over time, but it is perfect for my on-the-go needs, like carrying to Bible Study, Church, coffee shop or airplane. I love that it has the Intertestamental books (or Apocrypha or Deuterocanonicals - whatever you like to call them) what a treasure in a small binding : )
