Tilley Endurables LTM5 Airflo Hat

I got this Tilley hat for when I’m hiking on the hills. It’s a great fit and very comfortable. It stays on even if it’s a bit windy. A really well made quality product. It feels like it will last forever!

Light weight, extremely comfortable and great protection. Can be packed flat for travelling.

I ummed and aah-ed about getting this hat - they are, after all, quite a lot more expensive than just about every other sun-hat out there. But! Even before you put it on, you can feel the quality of manufacture is far, far superior to cheaper offerings. I am now having a ‘hat cull’ to rid myself of all those other, cheaper and severely disappointing efforts! “Quali-Tilley” is the word I’d use here (and if Tilley want to buy that from me, I’m open to negotiations 😉)

Until snatched from my head by a gust of wind to disappear for ever in the ocean, this was a good hat. Use the chin strap when climbing sea cliffs. Tilley hats are expensive, but for some reason they are generally more comfortable and generally longer lasting than their competitors. It could be that their price simply makes you take better care of them.

Very good product (as always with Tilley). Lighter in weight than the classic Tilley but comfortable and does the job.

Lightweight, well fitting, brim nicely shaped. Easy to reshape after packing. Looks great, keeps sun off my head without getting too hot. Used for travel, city-breaks and hiking. My head a 57cm and found 7 1/8 best fit, returned the 7 1/4. Very comfortable and good value given ease of packing and looks.

Bought for my dad’s birthday, very good make and very well made. Already aware of the brand and its quality. Nice beige stone colour.

I have 6 hats, all size 7 and this falls off my head. I am afraid to send it back because the last 2 times it has been difficult. One was a discrepancy between Amazon and Tilley then the new hat faded, they wanted me to cut my hat...I couldn't do that, I love my hats, so I ordered this one. I think, just be careful with the blue. My Nick name is Tilley

I owned a LTM5 Airflo in Olive. I love my Tilley and have worn this Tilley with pride in my travels. I have had many compliments and I am quick to point out that my Tilley is made in Canada. I have even been in conversations with other travelers where the conversation started because of our common wearing of Tilley hats. My Tilley has been to Europe, Turkey, Soudy Arabia, Egypt and across the USA and Canada. My Tilley has even been inside an Egyptian Pyramid. A few months ago my son Michael asked to borrow my Tilley for a trip he was taking to the Grand Canyon. He looked great in the hat as he explored some magnificent places in the United States of America. The pictures were marvelous. He loves the Tilley and on his return I told him he could keep it. I told him I had bought an Olive Tilley LTM5 Airflow (made in Canada) and that I would be receiving it shortly. We would each have our own Canadian made Tilley to travel with. I received my Tilley today. The descrition on Amazon clearly states "Made in Canada". It looks great but when I looked inside, the tags state that the hat is made in China. I was very disappointed. It remains a nice hat, but it is not a Tilley made in Canada. I cannot wear this hat with the pride that I had knowing that my Tilley was Canadian. Frankly, it is now just a hat like any other hat. It makes me sad to look at this new hat pretending to be like the Tilley I gave to my son. I cannot wear this new hat. To me it is not a Tilley and I will return it immediately. The worst part of this is that now when I look at someone wearing a hat that looks like a Tilley I will wonder whether it is a real Tilley or just a hat made in China. The pride is gone, snuffed out by globalization and higher profits. I am sad.

It's a good hat, protection from the sun, comfortable, I should have ordered a size smaller, but still works. Not the most stylish hat, but functional

well made and well designed, although sent in a paper pack which does not reflect value and it arrives creased.
