These are very good and used this to secure 40mm insulated plaster board. Follow the instructions and you will be ok

Works on brick and block
Quick and easy way to fit insulation and plasterboard,due to being plastic plaster didn't take to well at first but when taped over was fine

Doesn’t work on softer Victorian brick walls.
We bought these to insulate Victorian internal walls. They pulled out easily and you had to glue them in to fix them. Ended up bantering out the area rather than using these.

These did not work the ones that actually hammered in didn't hold the insulated plasterboard very well, but most wouldn't hammer all the way in.
