Never go without it when drinking Gin and Tonic 😜
Saw this on the series the Crown and where the Queen mother stirred her GnT. The wife thought it was cool. So found it on Amazon. Took 5 minutes to figure out it was a swizzle stick then boom. Great quality. Can be put on a long necklace.

Expensive for what you get, not as classy as it looked in the image
This was for a present and I found it disappointing, flimsy and the mechanism a bit rough. It didn’t open easily. The box was rather cheap looking for the price of the swizzle stick so I didn’t send it in the box. For a classy object I recommend better presentation at least.

Certainly not worth £40
It IS attractive, but very small, and fairly flimsy - definitely not worth £40 or so. Wish it was bigger and more sturdy

Delightful
This is a delightful little trinket, originally to take the bubbles out of champagne. Common or not I take the bubbles out of my cloudy lemonade.

Not Sterling quality but half the price.
I have just purchased one of these from this supplier and gave it a quick silver 'acid test' prior to giving it as a gift to someone who loves champagne. I wasn't able to scratch it to test for plate but it seems fine. There is a number stamped in the ring attached to it but as with most small items of jewellery it is not easy to see, and there is no silver mark on the actual item. The picture is fairly accurate although the quality close up is not brilliant as it seems fairly crudely made. That said it is a pretty little item and you get what you pay for as they say You'd pay twice this price for a STERLING silver equivalent. The ball on the end was quite pitted for instance and it feels very flimsy. This doesn't matter too much since it is small so the imperfections are not easily noticed unless you have very good eyesight, and it is bought more for novelty value than functionality. I expect that each one will be different, so quality is probably a bit of a lottery. I have yet to get a reaction from the recipient but I would be happy to receive one as a gift.
