I needed a pick for my fro but according to reviews on some picks, it was difficult to find a good old fashioned one like the one my dad would use when I was a kid. I’m so glad I purchased this one, it hasn’t failed me yet. It’s sturdy and the teeth are strong! Makes a great tool for a itchy scalp.

I use it to comb my fro and it works very well, the rods never bend while combing but after a few weeks the metal rods on the sides started falling out.

It really helps volumize my curls on day one which is great, without heat or anything of that nature, I like this pick!

the pick I got was awesome!! I loved it special since mine came with a superman insignia. It goes well since my name is Sam so it's awesome (yea I know, I'm a dork) picking my hair was no problem even when it's extremely dry which I couldn't do with the plastic picks. Doesn't rip all my hair out. Feels good on my head and looks cool. Would honestly buy some for my friend but I don't need them bitting my style ;p

since I have some hand impairments, I bought this to help with slicing tasks. It's the best! It not only makes thing safer for me by keeping my fingers away from the knife - it also enables me to easily slice hot items. I can vary the slice width by slicing thru every other or every third prong. The black power fist may be an odd design element for the kitchen, but it really helps to maintain a firm grip. I especially recommend these for folks who are teaching their children to help in the kitchen - it will make cutting tasks both easier and safer for beginners. In fact, I plan to buy several more to give to friends and relatives with kitchen-happy kiddies.

Purchased the this after watching a "onion life hack" video that showed how using a hair pick comb to cut onions will save you time and the hassle of cutting an onion. Simply stick the pick into the onion and slice down the spaces between the comb. But why just use it for an onion? As the video later shows, you can really use this pick to slice up all sorts of fruit and vegetable! Lemons, cucumber, etc. I haven't actually tried it to cut up an onion yet; chopping up an onion isn't as tedious as they make it out to be. Still, I enjoy the multi-purpose idea of this life hack.

I was a little concerned before buying because in the main and only product photo on the item listing the metal prongs appear to be slightly bent, but upon arrive today all the prongs are very straight and the item feels very durable and high quality, the stainless steel prongs are decently thick and does not feel cheaply made. see photo!
