Best bang for your buck! Great quality too!
Honestly I rarely take the time to leave reviews because I like to be thorough and that takes time, so you know this is a great quality little notebook! I bought this 2-pack in April 20222, and it's currently March 2023, so it's been a year of wear and tear. Durability: These notebooks have withstood a year of my throwing them around (literally), being smooshed in my purse, backpack, luggage, back pocket, you name it. I usually have bent edges and messed up spines on books that travel with me long-term, but these notebooks are awesome! I use them for grocery lists, to-do lists, note-taking when on hikes (when I want a regular notebook, not an actual field notebook), data collection, you name it. It has some minor scratches, some watermarks from coffee splatter and maybe one chip on the bottom back cover (probably form a pocket knife that opened in my bag). The bookmark ribbons haven't unraveled and look almost as good as the day they arrived. The elasticity in the pen-holder and the elastic closure are both really good still and should outlive the empty pages in this notebook. So far I'm half-way through the pages and I like to write on both sides to get the most out of the pages. Bleed-through: I typically have two styles of pen that I like to write with: Slim Ballpoint (0.38 mm): No bleed-through, though there is some minor imprint from the writing on the other side of the page (which can't really be helped with such a fine writing instrument) especially if you're writing in a hurry. and Liquid Ink (0.5 mm): These pens (I use Pilot V5) will be visible (but not bleed through) if you leave the pen on the paper in one spot for a bit or like to write-over for a bold look, write slowly or with a heavy hand. However, it's minimal enough that it doesn't bother me and doesn't impede reading the other side of the page's writing. Size: The height seems to be a little longer than 5.5" even counting the extra I had on the edge of the ruler. Width seems about right though! Ruling: You get 20 lines per page, but if you write on the bottom margin you get 21 total. I do like a narrow rule, but this is pretty good, considering most notebooks of this size only give you 19 lines per page. Honestly love these little notebooks, very handy and durable. They do their job well!

Fountain Pen Friendly!
These are great notebooks! The cover and binding are sturdy and the paper is very smooth. I was greatly surprised to see that all of my fountain pens write beautifully on this paper with ZERO ghosting or bleed-through, even with my darkest inks and juiciest nibs. It is a great pleasure to use this. I purchased them about a year ago and only just recently started using one, and I was blown away. I loved the quality and the portability of this little thing that I can throw into my bag or a jacket pocket. Normally I like to use an A5 book to write in, but this is great for jotting down ideas. I could not get on Amazon to another 2-pack fast enough. These are excellent notebooks!

I go a little off topic. But it’s a little journal.
These little powerhouse journals are every bit as good as the hard bound journals I normally get from Leuchtturm 1917, and are very well-made. I normally use a larger size (a5), but I thought I’d check these out. I would say “For the price” but they’re actually just as good period. I was a huge fan of the Moleskine® brand for a very long time. I bought around thirty of those notebooks. But dang, given how much I write — normally going through a full 300 pages a month (about 10 pages front and back per day) — when I happened upon what I **thought** was a “Moleskine knockoff” brand (Leuchtturm 1917) (no, this is not a paid review. I don’t do those and I think they are evil.) while on Christmastide Holiday in Reykjavik, Iceland 🇮🇸, in a beautiful and cozy stationery and book store tucked away in a somewhat clandestine little corner of the city — and I saw the difference in quality AND size for a little LESS money I literally bought out the journals they had because it was a brand I was unfamiliar with and I guessed that they would be impossible to find where I live. Well, you can buy them here on Amazon. Thing is they are an ACTUAL A5 size, which gives me almost an inch more page width. Multiply that by the fact that they have a whole lot more pages and it gives me over 300 square inches of space to write on for the same money or a little less money. Anyway these journals are great.

Excellent Value and Surprising Quality
I am using mine for a Geology Field Notebook. It fits in my shirt pocket, but I bought a small belt pouch to hold it and a handful of field items. What I like: Heavy weight paper - 100gsm; pages sewn in; no ink bleed through; has heavy weight fly leaves; has 72 pages + 2 fly leaves; pocket on front end paper and expandable pocket on back end paper; two ribbons for place holders. As to the paper quality: I use a 0.4mm Zebra Sarasa clip gel ink pen for writing. Ink lines stay crisp on the page and no fuzz to clog up the ink ball. Several reviewers have mentioned the elastic pen holder coming loose. I believe that problem has more to do with today's OVERLY fat pens with comfort grips. The holder seems better suited to something the diameter of a typical pencil or stick pen. I use a Pentel P205 mechanical pencil, and it is held in place with no straining. Time will tell as to how well this notebook stands up to field use, but I expect that it will pass the test.

Great little note books
These are very handy little note books. I use them for my job as a handyman so when people ask for something I can write it down and not immediately forget! It slips into my back pocket where it takes a beating from sitting, standing and squatting but it has mostly held up. It's bent and I had to reglue the binding at one point but overall I am very happy with the price, size and functionality.

Great little notebooks
These are about the size of the small Moleskine notebooks and far more bang for the buck. The penholder is very useful and sturdy. The ink doesn't bleed through to the other side of the page. Going to order two more.

I watched a Peter McKinnon YouTube video where he described how he decided to use a booklet instead of his phone for his daily "to do" list. The premise being that if you use your phone you get too easily distracted and do no focus on just the tasks listed. He also liked crossing them off daily as a sense of accomplishment. I decided I had to try it out and found these. The perfect size, excellent hardcover, elastic to keep it closed, ribbon bookmarks, lined paper on both sides and a fabric elastic pen holder... PERFECT. The quality of this notebook especially for the price is superb. It is ideal for my purpose and I also picked up a bolt action pen to make the task booklet complete. This is a durable companion notebook for any note taking task, I highly recommend it.

Great mini notebooks for carrying on the go. Also the best moleskine dupes! Would definitely buy these again in the future!

I'm odd when it comes to notebooks and what I like. So I've purchased a few and these are my favourite. The cover is really sturdy with a gorgeous feel to it. Inside it has a little flap for tucking receipts in and the bsck has a little pocket. The paper is thick cream, nice spaced lines - not too far apart and not to close together. Top quality so far. It has a lovely pen holder, it has not 1 but 2 ribbons and for the price I am absolutely chuffed. They fit in a pocket or bag so easy. It's not a notebook to open as easy as the cheaper sets you buy but with a bit of handling it will loosen out. Definitely a repurchase for me.
