I recently purchased the AOSU 4-Cam Solar Security System and I am extremely impressed. The setup was very straightforward — everything connected quickly to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi without any issues. I had all four cameras mounted and running in under an hour. The 2K video quality is very clear, both during the day and at night. The color night vision works surprisingly well, and I can clearly see faces and details around my yard and driveway. The 360° pan and tilt feature with auto-tracking is one of my favorite features — it follows movement smoothly so there are no blind spots. I also love that this system is solar powered, so I don’t have to worry about constantly charging batteries. As long as the cameras get a few hours of sunlight, they stay powered. Another huge plus is no subscription required — the local storage with the Home Station saves money compared to other brands that charge monthly fees. The app is easy to use, notifications come through quickly, and the overall build quality feels solid and durable for outdoor use. Overall, this system offers excellent value for the price. Great product. Really impressed with ease of set up and function of app. Range on these cameras is excellent. I have one that is 300+ feet from base and it functions flawlessly. Solar works better than expected. All cameras remain at 100% even in winter when days are shorter. I have 12 of these cameras and all have worked great. Recently I had issues with one connecting to the base. After several attempts to reconnect with no success I contacted support. Their quick response was impressive and after review of my issue they quickly shipped a replacement for the non-functioning camera. Response, review and resolution where all handled in a matter of hours via email. You simply can't beat this response time. I have recommended these cameras to several friends and neighbors who have purchased and are equally impressed. If you are in the market for a camera system you can't go wrong with AOSU!

Ordered these to provide security for home. Item packaged very well when received. Took me about 30 to 45 minutes to get up and running in test in the house before mounting outside. Love the tracking and functionality I’ve tested so far. Mounting, set-up, and monitoring is pretty straightforward. A lot more functions I can see that have not tested yet. Overall I’m well pleased. One small issue of concern could be when you put the camera out in maybe some high wind possible area the camera does not have a positive lock on the mounting bracket that you would have to manually release the camera and that would be plus to have on the future to avoid the possibility of a camera falling off the mounting bracket. The home base I believe is not WiFi per say that you can put anywhere it has to be plugged into your router directly I believe but not 100%!clear on that.

I’m really happy with my Aosu security camera. The video quality is clear, and the motion alerts work very well. Setup was quick and easy using the app. I also had a question, and their customer service was great—very helpful and responsive. Overall, it’s a reliable security camera and a great value for the price. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I seldom write many reviews unless it’s worth it. And these cameras are worth writing about. I just purchased and received them on March 20, 2026. 1. A little pricey, my first thoughts 2. I definitely do not want to pay for any subscription. 3. I was looking for solar cameras with 360 degree rotation and with auto tracking, AI , etc These camera’s have IMPRESSED me! I am so surprised that these cameras are working as described. The base does come with a 32 gig mini memory card and says it can be expanded up to 1 TB, I haven’t upgraded yet. It records for long periods of time. And it follows the person where they are walking . It’s Awesome!!! It has recorded for 1 min , it doesn’t just do a 10 second recording , it will record as long as the person is in the camera view. Cons: One important thing, I have an iPhone 17 pro max with the latest current software updates. I had trouble connecting the base to my phone, I followed directions and was not able to connect. I didn’t call customer service. My husband has an android phone, Samsung, and he was able to connect immediately. Without any problems. As soon it was connected, I was able to see the cameras and all the settings. Not sure why it didn’t connect with my iPhone for 1st time set up. Only down fall I would definitely recommend these cameras. They work GREAT!

Overall, I am happy with these cameras. They were easy to setup, good video and are working well. They are maintaining their charge, even though one camera is not getting direct sun. I really like the pan feature and how it tracks movement. I did have an issue with a battery on one camera. I contacted customer service and Julie was able to quickly diagnose the issue and had a replacement sent to me very quickly. Good product and good customer service.

I’m really impressed with these AOSU cameras. The installation was straightforward, and the setup/synchronization process is one of the best I’ve ever seen, smooth and intuitive. The image quality is excellent, and the recognition system works very well, providing accurate alerts without too many false notifications. One small area for improvement: since I live in a bungalow, a few of my cameras had to be mounted lower than usual. It would be great if AOSU could add some type of locking mechanism or security latch to make it harder for someone to remove or steal a camera once it’s installed. Overall, this 6-cam kit is a fantastic option for anyone looking for reliable, subscription-free home security. Highly recommended!

I would give a 5-star rating if wouldn’t be for one particular feature: the build-in solar panels for the model I bought. I have used the system for more than a month now and here below is my feedback. 1. The App- very good and easy to use. 2. Central unit/modem – very good, good signal on all sides of the house. I was a bit concerned with the coverage since my house has brick all the way around and is not small. So far I am satisfied. Do not block the unit with other larger objects. You might need to move the unit in few places and check the signal received from the cameras , once they are in their final location. 3. The cameras (I have 4) are good quality, image is very good and all described functions working as expected. Rotating head works very well, end to end. I was concerned about the outdoor temperature since I live up North. I’ve tested them until -10 degree Celsius and have not noticed any service degradation. 4. Build-in solar panels: in my opinion the panels are sub-dimensioned for the camera consumption. They are not directional (with my camera model) and when you combine that with the installation location, you probably will not have a perfect angle. The top priority is to install the cameras in the best possible position for monitoring and that does not necessary allows the best sun exposure. In my case, only the South side of the house provides excellent light exposure. For the other 3 sides, the built-in panels cannot keep up with consumption and needs the additional, adjustable, solar panels to help. Maybe in places like Nevada, Arizona, Texas, etc. you have more luck but is not my case. I recommend buying the model with larger, angle adjustable solar panels. 5. Technical Support: I'll give them a 5-star on this, very responsive and helpful. I initially had some installation problems and later the solar panels issue described above. They were supportive from day one and wanted me to have the best experience possible. I was dealing with the agent called Lynette but I guess any other one would be provide the same excellent service level. So, on summary, is a very good product but do not try to save some bucks on the solar panels if you are not located in the sunny South. They have many models, the bigger the solar panel + directional adjustable, the better for you and less problems.

I got these to install in my front and back yard for security purposes. Overall I am very happy with this product: it is of good build quality, the cameras are very responsive and offer decent visibility during day and night, has neat features like the alarm system and default view, and motion tracking works very well. I did run into some issues, some of which I was able to resolve: 1) I noticed that the network connection in my front yard camera was not very strong (around 50%), probably because it was farther away from my router. Since I couldn't move my router closer (it is connected by a short coaxial cable), I got a wifi range extender that has an ethernet port and plugged the camera's homebase in it and brought it closer to the front yard camera. Signal was boosted to almost 80% and haven't had any connection issues since 2) charging with the solar panels was confusing; some days I would see the charging icon on the camera even when it was in shade or it was cloudy/rainy, and others I would not see any charging even if the camera is in direct sunlight. After contacting customer support, I put the cameras in direct sunlight and the charging icons appeared again and lasted through the day. I suspect that temperature plays a role in how well the solar panels start charging, but for now my plan is to charge cameras via a long USB cable from time to time, since winter is coming and there won't be that many sunny days. Customer service were kind enough to send me extra solar panels, so I might try installing those as well and see if it helps. However, I noticed that the batteries don't discharge very quickly (maybe lose 1 or 2 % a day, when camera is in the shade) so I think I won't need to charge them very often. 3) The multi-cam function in the app doesn't work very well. Whenever I try it the app stalls and force quits after a minute. I notified customer service so hopefully they can fix this bug. But honestly it is not a crucial feature since I can easily and quickly view each feed individually without problem. Overall I am satisfied with this product after trying it out for 2 weeks. I hope it would continue to serve me well, and I feel comfortable knowing there is a great customer service to support me if anything goes wrong.

This solar security camera kit is Great. It was easy to set up once I had the cameras fully charged. I connected the base to household power and we were on our way to getting things set up. Every thing went smooth until a week later when both cameras were low on power and had to be brought into a warm place to be charged. Contacted AOSU through email and after exchanging emails I discovered that in cold weather that the cameras do not charge as good as they should so extra solar panels were added and things are better now. Thanks to Lynette If you are thinking of maybe adding an extra camera later, save yourself a head ache and buy the kit with more cameras to start. Experience is talking , I made that mistake. The cameras work great until it gets -30 C then they put them selves in rest mode. I just found out.
