Found them too crunchy initally (found them better after a long soak) much more interesting, healthy tasting & they are a great source of fibre.

These things are good. Level set your expectations - they are firm and can be hard to chew until they soften up a bit. They can be soaked prior to eating to soften them. They have a nutty slightly sweet flavor. They are not nuts they are tubers.

I really like these. I eat them right out of the bag. They taste like nuts and are nice, considering they are dried tubers. But... If you have kidney stones or gout, this is high in oxalates. I bought not thinking of that. I was avoiding nuts because of oxalates. I didn't think a tuber would be high in them. But they taste great. I have not soaked them to see what they taste like, soft and hydrated. If you do not have kidney stone issues. This is an incredibly healthy food source for hikes or emergencies. These are packed with lots of good stuff.

Interesting flavor, I like it. The nuts have a very hard outer shell and a somewhat softer interior. I will certainly finish eating the pound I bought, but may not order more for the sake of my teeth.

The biggest issue is the packaging shows unpeeled tiger nuts, but you’ll get unpeeled ones. They’re hard as pebbles and if you try to eat, you’ll break a tooth. I guess they require soaking, though the seller provides no information on this. Just avoid these altogether.
