I like Explanation and topic covered

The book offers a very good content. Giving 4*s only for the fact that the pictures or diagrams used in the book are not so great, it could have been really good if the pictures are clearer. The book really used diagrams and designs at all the appropriate places. May be in the next reprint of the book please use good and legible graphics or may be use real pictures, it's possible. For other buyers of this book, you can just buy it without a second thought, it offers a good content, which is more important. My review is more to do with look and feel and it is for the Author/publisher.

not understandable what the author meant at many places

While reading this book, You feel like you are sitting face to face with Kusum Madam to understand the most basic fundamentals which makes a stitching student eager and serious to understand more. Right from the basics to drafting, cutting, finishing almost all types of garments - all matters are so easily understandable in the smoothly flowing language of Kusum Madam. This book is good enough to initiate a spark in you to go further deeper into the subject and to enroll for a full fledged stitching course designed and directed by madam.

I am just so so happy to have bought this. I am a self learned designer and this book is a must have.It tells you about all the basics , has a size chart , and teaches you drafting of almost everything!!The only thing is the pages look like photocopies!!
