Very useful set

Works well on natural materials, wool and cashmere, that isn’t too much of a chunky knit. Some materials you need to pull taught to get to the bobbles. These don’t work too well on synthetic materials as the fibres have too much flex and don’t come off as easily so a shaver would be better for that type. On some fabrics they seem to pull out more fibres while they remove the bobbles which makes me wonder if they will make it happen more quickly next time but only time will tell. My lambs wool jumper does look much better

Very surprised by how good this was. Easy to use and impressed with the results. School sweater looks almost new again. Have attached a before and after picture so you can see for yourself.

Hard work for medium results, then as soon as item washed it re-pilled.... Probably good on very lightly bobbled items.

Great value, does what it says on the tin, easy to use as well. Gets rid of the fluff

At first I was really pleased, wanted to remove the pilling from my tweedy fabric sofa and using the darker of the two combs it started to do the job. Halfway through the first cushion though, the rough bit of webbing that catches the pills came out of the holder and I could see it was already worn out. Fortunately, this is a set of two combs, the second one is metal so hopefully this one will last a bit longer than two minutes. Perhaps I was using the wrong comb for the job, but no directions are included.UPDATEI have received a replacement comb today and an explanation of what it should be used for. This is very helpful, thank you Alan, I’ll just use this one for delicate items as suggested.Lovely customer service. Updated to four stars.

I own a number of cashmere sweaters and scarves and over time they have developed "pills" that can ruin their look. After conducting a little research I settled on this little comb set and it hasn't disappointed ! My sweaters are now back to looking like they did when I bought them. You get two combs in the set bound up in a lovely little organza bag. I have been using the one with black teeth for cashmere and although you need to be patient, the results are fantastic. I highly recommend it.

The comb was difficult to use and felt like it was causing more damage than anything. I don’t know what the more coarse one would be used for, as it was too rough on a woollen coat. From using the finer one on the coat, I definitely wouldn’t trust using it on a finer knit or cashmere. Also it is not eligible for returns so is money wasted
