Surprisingly useful
Loved this small saw. It cut thru small limbs without binding or losing power. It fits in my hand quite well and is easy to use. The charge lasted longer than expected -- I worked on three trees for about thirty minutes with charge remaining.

5 stars
I’ve been really impressed with this mini chainsaw. It’s surprisingly powerful for cutting fresh wood. It came with two 20V lithium batteries. There are safety features such as the security lock that prevents accidental starts, and the protective baffle that keeps sawdust from flying everywhere. There are built-in overload and temperature protection. The chainsaw is extremely lightweight and easy to handle. The package contains two chains, two batteries, a charger, goggles, and gloves. Overall, this is a great portable chainsaw for quick yard work, pruning, and small cutting jobs. For its size, convenience, and value, I’m very happy with this purchase.

Little cutter gets the job done!
We got piles of branches going from the size of a twig to a tree limb for our community falls cleanup project. This little cordless and powerful chainsaw really helps out a lot to get the jobs done where a pruner just can’t do it. It could even cut the limbs that are quite thick, around 5” or so. It’s very lightweight and small and packed with many goodies such as protective glass, gloves, extra batteries & chain links, and the storage container. The safety features on the chainsaw to activate it definitely is a must have even though it may seem inconvenient at first. The flexible chain cover on top to prevent any broken parts of the cuttings from shooting upwards is an excellent feature. I could see that it’s going to be so handy for my upcoming custom window screens frame building project. Overall, it’s a great tools to have around if you got some spring and falls landscaping projects to take care of.

Nice little saw!
Review for Wemars 6" mini-chainsaw: I bought this on Prime Day, at a price too good to pass up, with cutting tasks waiting for me. It came preassembled, in a nice case, with an extra battery, spare chain, safety glasses, cheap gloves (replace those if you don't have some canvas work gloves). It was surprisingly effective, cutting down brush 2-3.5" in diameter. I have a larger chainsaw that is simply too bulky to take care of smaller cutting, so this was really handy. Two warnings, if you want an easy time getting started with this saw: You'll need chain oil (available from any hardware store), and a small squeeze bottle to apply it. (Like most mini chainsaws at the lower end of the price scale, this one does not have an automatic oiler feature.) I re-purposed a 2 oz bottle from a sample size of BBQ sauce, with a screw-open/close tip. You'll need to keep this handy while cutting, since you need to apply oil regularly. (A few drops along upper and lower edge of the chain, perhaps every minute or so of actual cutting time.) I took off the protective cover for the guide bar: internal construction seems OK at this price point. Frankly, I'd consider this a disposable tool, and it's going to tear up something inside eventually. I'm OK with that-- it saved me enough time on my first day of use to be worth the cost. This saw also doesn't have an conveniently located knob for tensioning the chain-- also typical at this price point. Wemars has included a small regular screwdriver to adjust this, but it's not really the correct type of screwdriver: the location of the screw at the base of the guide bar means the screwdriver is always pushed away from perpendicular with the screw-- you'll be both frustrated, and will eventually strip out the head of the screw when trying to use this. While you're at the hardware store to get chain oil, pick up a right angle screwdriver, #1 Phillips tip. Both your mental attitude, and the chainsaw, will thank you for it. (Push down lightly on the bar above the screwdriver tip when using the right-angle screwdriver to keep it properly seated in the screw head.) My saw maintained chain tension well, and didn't really need to be adjusted during an hour of use, but you should check it regularly The attached picture shows the 2 pieces I've added to my kit.

Nice mini chain saw
This mini chainsaw completely exceeded my expectations! It’s powerful, efficient, and surprisingly easy to handle. I’ve used it to cut through large, hard logs—some quite long—and it slices through them in under a minute with no problem. The design is compact and ergonomic, making it comfortable to use even for extended periods. The battery life is impressive, and the build quality feels solid and durable. It’s lightweight but doesn’t compromise on performance. Perfect for backyard projects, pruning, or even heavier jobs. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable and well-designed mini chainsaw. Worth every penny!

Very good little saw that makes pruning easy!
Amazing little saw. I was skeptical at first but it has been wonderful. Handy and very powerful. I’m 62years old so it makes pruning very manageable. The one battery went bad in less than a year. There doesn’t seem to be replacement batteries available. But for the price I can’t complain!

Easy to start up
Okay, seriously, ditch the big, heavy gas saws for light jobs. This little 6-inch mini-chainsaw is a total beast in a tiny package! It's so compact and lightweight that I can literally use it one-handed without getting worn out. I was skeptical about electric, but this thing starts up instantly—no yanking cords, no messing with gas and oil, and no frustration. I used it to trim a bunch of thick branches around the yard, and it powered through them perfectly. It fits easily in my shed and is ready to go in literally seconds. If you have light pruning or quick cuts to make, this is a total game-changer and a must-have for your home tools. Best impulse buy this year!

So far, love this chainsaw. Light weight and easy to use. See update.
I am a 77 year old 5' 2" woman that has taken on clearing a garden area around a 2-level patio that has been let go for a few years. Some of the trees have dead branches and there are a number of honeysuckle bushes that have dead branches and are unwanted in the garden area. My husband has a gas powered chain saw he uses, but I wouldn't even attempt using this saw. It's just too intimidating for me. This small chain saw is perfect for me. It's lightweight and easy to use. I have been able to easily remove dead branches from trees and take down the unwanted honeysuckle bushes to the ground. Then I use a stump killer to kill them. It may sound silly, but this saw has empowered me to get jobs done that I would have previously depended on my husband to do. Love it. I have added a few pictures of the garden around the patio to show you the size, but they don't show much of the brush and plants that had to be removed. UPDATE 07/13/24: My husband is a fan and collector tools, and likely has just about every hand, electric, and gas tool in existence. As mentioned previously, we have been cleaning up and replanting our patio garden, and I found a huge grape vine that had attached to, and grown into a very large black walnut tree. At the base, this grape vine was 3" in diameter, and was sending growth into the garden as well as growing into the tree. I used this saw to cut the vine off at the base and use a vine and stump killer to hopefully kill the root. After I cut off and pulled out all of the horizontal growth in the garden, I tried to pull the vine out of the tree. Since I was at least wrapped into the tree branches at least 30 feet up, I couldn't pull it out of the tree. So, I asked my husband, who weighs 80 lbs. more than I do to try to pull it out, and he couldn't either. Since the cut end was hanging on the ground, we decided to cut it shorter in hopes it would be easier to pull it out after it dried. My husband went into the house to get a hand saw, but when he got back I suggested I use my mini chain saw. He held the vine while I cut it with this saw, and it took all of 5 seconds to cut through the 3" wooden vine. He was so surprised and exclaimed, "Oh my God, that was so fast!!". I didn't say anything, but it sure felt good to have an effective tool that my husband doesn't have. :) UPDATE 08/08/24: I have had this saw for 36 day and have loved as I have used it often during our garden cleanup. I had charged both batteries when I first got the saw, and today attempted to recharge them. The battery charger doesn't work after one use, and I am now 6 days past the Amazon return period. As yet, I haven't found a way to contact tech support to get another charger. So, I guess I will use the saw until both batteries run out and then trash it. I still gave the saw a 3-star rating rather than 5 star because I really love the saw, but it does nothing for me if I can't recharge the batteries. The lack of customer support for this product is really poor, and I am very disappointed. I hope this review was helpful for you.
