Easy install with 3 inch body lift. Cut larger square hole in bed and built a door to access hitch with the section removed. No problems so far.

Very strong and looks great. Definitely better than stock on my Silverado 2500

Installation was very smooth and fit Chevy 2003 2500hd gas (6.0) very good. Everything lined up nice with no issues

I bought this only because of the price point. It took me several afternoons to install, some of that is because I wanted it centered and very clean looking.The only easy ways to install this are to remove the bed, or remove the gas tank, exhaust, and rear axle! You cannot properly torque all of the bolts because two are on top of the gas tank, unless you remove the tank or if you have some super secret tool that I am not aware of? The hitch release rod was wedged between the frame and under side of the bed until I bent it slightly and ground a half circle in the bed seam to allow it move better. The directions are OK at best, but not great.Overall I think it seems solid (I haven’t used it yet) and I think it will perform well, but yea it is a pain in the ass to install.

I bought this gooseneck hitch for a 2004 Chevy 2500 short bed. The instructions were way to vague, not just anyone can install this hitch! we spent a hour just trying to make sure this was even the right hitch we needed and we had all the parts.All videos to install this were for newer years and on not short beds... very confusing and took about 4 hours to install....but love the hitch overall. Pulls my 15k pound horse trailer great. Fits my truck perfect!

Very well made and easy to install. Took about 6 hours without a hoist and had to buy tools at my local parts store. (I have minimal tools) requires a 1⅛ socket and wrench for big bolts.Fit my 01 Silverado 2500hd

Purchased this item after ordering the incorrect one first. I'm sure the item would have worked for us if we had gotten all the parts. Huge box with what was supposed to be the installation kit (sent separately) was empty of all but 1 piece. Huge obvious hole had been taped over, after having issues with this item twice, wont be ordering items like this again.Item description needs to be corrected!!!

Was very worried about cutting holes in my bed and not getting it right but with the easy to follow instructions and measurements was easy to install! Had it in, in no time pulls 2 horse trailer straight down the road with no problems.
