I bought 2 of these to use for a light tent setup for shooting my own 3D artwork. The bulbs are fairly large compared to a normal size light bulb. The base for the bulb seems to be large, and the bulb is more elongated, but not ginormous or obnoxiously big. I forgot where I heard of these, but I'm glad to have found them on Amazon. They are totally worth the price you pay. The best part is the number of lumens, at a count of 2800! The color is just perfect for daylight bulbs, unlike those warm tint bulbs. Definitely had to do my research before discovering these. I just use a clip lamp and screw these in. Best daylight bulb I've seen and will last super long. Highly recommended and I entirely trust PBL as a company now.IMPORTANT NOTE: If you haven't used them for a while, they may need to heat up for a few minutes. The fluid/gas or whatever's inside the bulb will start flowing to the other parts, just give it a few minutes. I turned one on and thought it had been bumped/broken, but it was 100% functioning within a few minutes of warming up.

This is less a review and more a caution. The base of the bulb (above the screw-in part) is much larger than other CF bulbs I use. So it would not fit in the fixture. I'm writing just to point that out. I can't comment on the quality of the bulb.Other than that, however - the service from the seller was fine. The bulbs arrived on time and well-packed.

Very happy with my purchase. This was a replacement bulb from a previous purchase of several years ago.

Not one of the 50 Watt bulbs worked. All 10 bulls in the shipment were defective.
