seem easy to use once you figure out the specific way it is applied. There is a video for this on the Master Lock Industrial website...it is however quite hard to locate. The stem that pushes thru the small opening on the handle is quite thin. It seem to be about 3/16". So it seems quite easy to undo once the stem is broken.

I ordered this and had to return it. It did not fit and the directions that were online were poor.

Don't Bother!
Photos are deceiving this thing is very small and would not fit and lock a one inch valve. total waste of time & effort. I can make something that will work because so far all I have found is plastic or junk.

I purchased the Master Lock Seal-Tight Handle-On Valve Lockout to lock a water shut off valve for a client. It is easy to use and works well.

Not a good lock
Did not work at all. The only thing it did is slow the flow because it only locks part way.

poor representation of this lock working on 2" ball valve, lock out - tag out. sent it back

Not compatible with all ball valves.
Junk. Doesn't work with all ball valves. For the price, I can do better.
