THE best nursing pads
I've been experimenting with nursing pads for months now. I've purchased a huge range of pads and none have been just right -- too small, too bulky, too thin, oddly shaped, etc. So, I was resigned to the fact that there wasn't one brand that would do the job, and I made due. And, I would often wake up un the morning soaking wet, or at the grocery store with a wet shirt, because the bulkiest pad still couldn't manage. The most absorbant pad was the Bamboobie, presumably because it had bamboo fibres, but because of its awkward shape (and resulting small surface) I didn't wear them too often.Although I was no longer actively shopping for pads, I saw these at a breastfeeding supply store in Canada a few weeks ago. I noticed them because they're really BIG -- definitely bigger than anything else I had seen to date. And, they're bamboo, so I thought they might work well. After trying them out for a few days, I must say that these are AWESOME!! They are so absorbant, lasting through a full night and even into the day. They also cover a much larger surface of your breasts than the others so are less noticeable and are smooth and soft (and hold up really well in the wash).Really a superior product to all the others. Wish they were a bit cheaper, but I've invested in a few sets anyway because I have a really hard time putting up with the others now that I know how much better these are. Wish I had these from the start!!---update two years in!I still use these pads (now for my second baby) and love them. The bamboo pads are the best and most absorbent of any pads I've found. I also purchased the thinner pads from this company and they are not nearly as absorbent (they often don't even last through one feeding) although they are also large and comfy.

Widest and Thickest on the Market + Use/Care Instructions
I am a veteran nurser, so I have a lot of experience with nursing pads. I was a tried and true Lansinoh disposable pads girl (I still use them on trips when I just want to wear and toss), but for daily use, these Mother-Ease pads are my go-to choice. I tested two other popular reusable brands that we're thin, had a smaller diameter, or were oddly shaped.I am a heavy leaker, the kind that can spray, but these pads do the trick for moderate to heavy leaking. They are comfortable and I don't notice that I'm wearing them. They have a large circumference and an inner seem that helps to contour them to the breast shape. Yes, they are thick, but that is why they are absorbent. The inner terry cloth lining is soft and the smooth backing helps keep moisture in. The inner lining gives a mostly stay-dry feel and doesn't generally cling to nipples. The layers inbetween the front and back give me confidence that milk won't leak through.Under a padded bra or thicker clothing layers, that are visually undetectable. They are less discreet under thinner clothing; however, the contoured shape helps. The packaging is not pretty - just wrapped in plastic - but the product is pretty self-explanatory. Just in case you want some use and care instructions, here goes:- Wear the soft, terry cloth side against breasts and the smooth, nylon side outward- Wash on gentle/delicates/permanent press cycle (you may want to use a bra bag)- Dry on delicate/low heat setting- You may choose to wash without liquid fabric softener or dryer sheets if you are concerned about chemical residue (I personally do use these items and haven't seen a problem)

I love them! Just wish they were less bulky
I absolutely love the feel of this breast pad and the absorbency is great! The only reason why I took one star away is because they feel bulky and are a little big. I am a small A cup (I was pretty flat before pregnancy) and a petite person, so these pads tend to be bigger than the circumference of my bra coverage and stick out. I bought bamboobie pads because I saw on reviews that some people complained they were too small and they worked out fine for my bra size but I found that they were for ladies with light leakage. So I use Mother- ease pads for everyday and night use and my bamboobies pads are for when I wear a tight and sexy dress or blouse with a sexy nursing bra on a night on the town with my hubby.I don' t know if this company does this already but some suggestions would be to do at least 2 circumference sizes and leakage protection sizes. Also, have color options and, is it me or has anyone thought of putting some dots of sticky or grip glue (like at the bottom of kids socks) in the back of the pads so they can stay in place.

although during heavier moments with my milk supply it soaks up easily. I have to do laundry everyday though
Very soft and comfy! Quite absorbant when it's just normal leaking, although during heavier moments with my milk supply it soaks up easily. I have to do laundry everyday though, so I've been alternating with these 3 pairs just fine in between drying times after a bit of practice. I like to throw in a dirty pair or two in my zippered mesh laundry bag along with other delicates for washing, then the dryer on low setting after. They still don't dry all the way after that, which is the biggest con I've had with these nursing pads-they take a long time to dry! I don't feel like wasting money in buying another set since I'm only breastfeeding til 6 months, so I choose to just place these in front of my space heater in the room after an incomplete dry. Overall, I'm happy with these because they are very comfortable to wear and they do a decent job.Update 3/21 - Black mold! At first when I saw a black smeared looking stain, I thought I accidentally rubbed my mascara on it one day when I had a mishap. But I was wrong... the next few days the black stain kept getting bigger and it spread horribly! All my pads got affected and I've done all I believe I could to save them; lemon juice and salt paste, baking soda paste, oxy clean paste, hot boiled water, vinegar, drying it in the sun, etc... didn't even remove one bit of the mold :( I really loved these pads too...i guess I wore them too long a few times while they were drenched with breastmilk, and I already do daily laundry! Too much time, hassle and money for me to give it another chance. I've opted for cheaper organic cotton breast pads now and even though they don't absorb as well, they're much easier to clean and haven't molded. Reverting to 2 stars from my previous 4 stars.
