I'm a bachelor, and in the abundance of time I have to myself, I've taken up cooking in the past few years. I started with a basic cheap SS cookware set, upgraded to a aluminum/ceramic cookware set, and now I'm trying to consolidate my all-around workhorses for the kitchen instead of trying to find room for a medley of pots/pans in my studio. Now, I have an 6qt Instant Pot to handle stockpot functions, a medium sauce pan for smaller volumes of liquids/stews, and this 2-1 dutch oven to handle skillet, sauteing, and baking duties. The 2-1 dutch oven also can handle overflow stew/soup duties, if needed. My other appliances include a rice cooker, toaster, and microwave. This addresses 95% of my day-to-day needs and I can still prepare mains for 6-8 people while asking others to bring sides. With all that said, the 2-1 enamel version is a joy to use for my daily meals. I use the skillet at least 4 times a week to make home fries (after microwaving sliced potatoes to speed up the cooking process), crack a few eggs over the skillet, pan-fry some veggies. At first I was worried that repeated use would lead to a lot of chipping on the enamel, especially since I have electric coils, but I've abused the skillet and the enamel still looks perfect. I recommend this 100%. February 2022 update: This combo set is still going strong after almost 3 years! In the past 18 months I've switched to an induction oven, and while the set sees a little less action during the week because I've been cooking less, it's still in perfect shape. If you really want the enamel to look unstained, you can use Bar Keeper's Friend, but I just accept the mild staining over time because I'm afraid of wearing down the enamel. Great job Bruntmor!

I have nothing negative to say about this product. Great quality, price and versatility. I have cooked everything possible in these pots. Easy to clean and long lasting inner coating.

This set is great. Depth of the pot is nice for cooking for a family of four. I’ve flipped and used the lid a number of times as a skillet. Awesome. Really like how things cook in it. It IS heavy so strong wrists required, or good over mitts/gloves for holding and a pad to rest on the counter while pouring from it. Cleaning is not difficult, but really easy if done while the pot is still warm.

This is a pan that you will use every day and every which way!

Second time using it and so far I have not seen the enamel chipping or appearing worn. Made tomato based dishes so far to not ruin my seasoned cast iron and haven’t noticed discoloration at all. I am a tad worried that I may see defects however being this is my beginning journey to cast iron and enamel coating pots. I feel good about choosing a more budget friendly option. I have 3.3 quart version cast iron with the grill lid and i have been pleasantly surprised. I feel this will compliment well when I need to cook with tomatoes and to have more versatile options between two 2 in one sets. I have a very well rounded set now with pots that are not overly heavy when filled at capacity and can safely put in and out of oven.

Beautiful and everything it adversities however, I did not understand the cookware dangers. If using the lid please be advised to use oven mitts that cover your hands. I received 2nd burns when attempting to lift the lid on my hand. I had pot holders, as obviously the cookware was hot to touch. But I had not anticipated the steam. In the future I will always cover my hands and even though I am paying for it right now. It is a stark reminder that understanding the potential dangers of product is vital.

I just got it and used it right away. Nice size, holds a lot of food! Cleaned up after making pasta & sauce. Cannot wait to use the skillet portion.

This is one of the best investments we have made. Love that use can use the lids to cook with as well. Super heavy and durable!

The pan arrived in good condition and hold the heat well. Doesn’t seal as well as my Kitchen Aid Dutch oven and coating is not as nonstick, but still a good addition to my kitchen.
