Gourmet Basics Jade Dinnerware Set (60 Piece)

These dishes are large and heavy. Very robust. I bought the Jade, and the bowls are what I expected, color wise. All the other dishes are darker in the middle. Would rather they were consistent in color with the bowls. No breakage or chips, which is great: well packed. Should last well.Just a personal note. Don't microwave your everyday dinnerware. My rich sisters kids ruin $!000s every year of her Portmeirion doing so. One of her serving dishes cost more than this set. Buy microwave safe stuff like Pyrex.They're pretty, but who uses Portmeirion as their everyday dishes?

These Gourmet Basics Jade dishes came within a good time frame and none of our dishes were broken upon arrival.The colors are nice. The dishes DO NOT get too hot when you take them out of the microwave. We’ve only had these a few weeks but we’ve not seen any chips or cracks in that time. One of the dishes seemed to arrive with some scratches but nothing super noticeable and minor discoloration due to the glaze not being even.The dishes have a nice weight to them. The mugs are a good size, the large plates are large but not too big for the dishwasher. The bowls also have a lot of room for whatever you need.

In less than 2 weeks, all 8 salad plates(I bought 2 orders), have brown rings around dif parts of the plate bottoms. You can see in the pictures how each one looks burned and each of the burn marks. They sent me one new plate, just today and you can see what a dif less than two weeks make. I'm single and there is no chance I've put more than a couple in the microwave so that's not it. The pic with two plates show a salad and a dinner plate next to each other. The worst thing is Mikasa says this is natural with any stoneware and won't replace them. Natural, yea right! I'm 64 yrs old and have had dif sets of stoneware for the last 30+ yrs and none of the others have done this. Also, 3 of the dinner plates were broken and they said they would send replacements and they sent one. Update, I got the other 2 yesterday. Again, I wouldn't buy from this company again! I don't know why lightweight is the metric... It should be heavy. I love these dishes. Out of the 80+ pieces I ordered maybe 6 were chipped or broken. They promptly replaced everything.They've got a nice and substantial feel to them. They're great. They don't get super hot when used in the microwave. I try to avoid microwaving them as another owner had his discolor from it. I really love these plates.

These dishes are both beautiful and durable.We continue to get nice comments from our guests about these pretty dishes.

This set is amazing. The picture does not do it any justice. I'm sure the sets vary based on how they fire, but I got a set of 40 and a set of 20 and I could not be happier with how they look. They were packaged well. Nothing was broken or chipped. Mikasa has never let me down with their look or durability.

This seller is extremely patient. We like the look of these settings. The feel of them is amazing. When you have a plate in your hand you know it and we like that. There where a few flaws in glazing and these guy went above and beyond the call to make things right. Very happy with them and and our choice.

I purchased this set and I'm 100% happy with the dinnerware! The color isn't really green, but more of a teal which is fine with me! The bowls and mugs are quite large which my husband loved. I can't wait to set my holiday table with this dinnerware!! Gorgeous!!!
