Male Model/Height 24"

I was leery of whether this model would have nicely marked labeling, as a friend bought the female version of this (I believe from the same vendor) and that figure's markings are terrible. However, this piece is clearly and neatly labeled. I have no real idea as to the accuracy of the markings, as I have yet to show my acupuncturist this purchase (the 8" head model that I also bought from this vendor passed muster with my practitioner as being a fairly accurate piece). I bought this just to use as a conversation piece for our (ah-hem) unique Victorian Steampunk home library and it works beautifully there. I have tucked this in a place that provides some extra support as the base is not that great, and the figure can topple over if bumped. As it is made of a firm plastic (to allow for needling practice), it can take the fall, but I don't want it to have to do so. And... I have also grouped a few pieces around it to hide the fact that this male figure is well-endowed. Ha!

Excellent price and value. Able to read lines and points. Perfect size for my office space and helps with explaining thoughts and theory to clients.

What a surprise! This was much taller than expected and is perfect for what I need it for. I am a massage therapist and teach acupressure workshops for common ailments. It really helps with explaining the meridians and chi. Well=made and of quality. This is the 3rd item I have purchased from this company and haven't been disappointed so far!

i wanted something to use as a learning teaching tool-got the small one at 10 inches and needed magnifying glass-this one came and i could see it clearly-it took alot of light misuse and held up well-and turned out to be portable when necessary- the stand was too weak in my world so i constructed a harness with which it can hang and i can walk around and move it as necessary from bottom of feet to top of head-easy to follow meridians and note numbers-a few were inelibible but they were in hard to reach places- female model would be worth the investment and worth saving for if they made it-but gr8 buy -its like my teddy bear-when i have pain or health issues i follow the lines from origin to and thru and learn something new each conversation

This is the second time I bought this item. It is a good reference to anyone who want to study pressure point. It has a pressure points labeled in both Chinese and English. It is sturdy and durable. One drawback is that the price of this item increase 30% this year. Maybe it is due to inflation?

lately, I been trying to learn Chinese medicine and other related health aspects. My classmates look everywhere but could not find a good model to refer to. I brought mine to class once and two classmates asked me to order for them since i have amazon prime. They love it. Its big enough to see the points clearly. half of the body had writings on them to indicate the name. The other half has labels with letters and numbers that you could refer to with a booklet that comes with it. This is really the best soft and economic acupuncture model you could find out there.

The lettering on the body is not readable so I really can NOT study it and it’s not worth the money spend

This thing is cheap junk and the photo of the item is deceptive. It does not come with the center stand as seen in the picture, instead having 2 holes in the bottom of the feet that you stick on to tiny pegs on the base, but the plastic is so soft and the model so top heavy that it warps and bends until it inevitably falls over. The base is also a cheap white plastic square, not the nicer looking one pictured. Markings are OK for the most part, although the accuracy of a few is questionable. Some of the meridians, points, and cun markings are faded or sloppily painted on. You get what you pay for I guess.

Acupuncture point marking is sloppy and inaccurate for many concave locations on the mold. Printed letters are blurry and lose many strokes. There is no base or stand as shown in the product presentation photo.
