Great for busy radiology dictation
I am a radiologist and work from home quite a bit. One less wire getting in the way is a big deal. The wireless SpeechMike install was seamless. Plug and play. Integrated with my voice recognition software instantly without any new drivers or software. Works just like my wired SpeechMike. Battery seams to work all day. I like the charging dock, small/compact and doesn't get in the way. I've had it for about a month and love it. If you set it down for a bit, it does seem to have a sleep mode which I didn't realize at first and I thought it was not syncing correctly but now I just place it in the dock if I am going to step away from my deck or am taking a while to look through a case. Overall very pleased and would buy again. Phillips is a very reliable manufacturer and I don't doubt it will last while.

Love it
Used another Mike brand for years. This has dramatically better voice recognition. The only problem is syncing it. It syncs and works but at times the app has told me it’s not connected but it still works. The Philips usb dongle has helped but I’m still working out how to know it’s connected. Still a vast improvement. ADDENDUM. Got the syncing problem fixed. This mike is so superior, it makes voice to text almost error free. Fantastic product!

Does not work
This is either defective unit of Philips screwed up. It keeps vibrating even if this is only two feet away, tried different location for base all the same. I am back to using my wired Philips mike. Waste of money. I am physician and have been using Dragon speech recognition for last ten years. I thought it will be good investment to get rid of wires from my desk, I was wrong. Bad product for doctors, we do not have time to deal with defective products. It keeps vibrating all the times, which is indication for failed connections.

Best Microphone I've Used
I've not had any issue with lagging. The battery easily lasts all day. It lasted all day the next day when I forgot to charge it. The buttons are easy to push. I like I that I can change the setting on the mic to make it act like a keyboard, programming buttons to be hotkeys so no driver is needed to get it to work. This makes it work with dragon on any of the computers at the hospital without me needing to ask IT to install special software. That said, it would be even better if I could program it to insert specific text strings when I push a certain button instead of just hotkeys/single characters. I would recommend this microphone over the nuance powermic. It's definitely worth getting the Air Bridge if you are going to use it with a laptop.

Easy to install and extremely accurate
I am a long-time user of Dragon Naturally Speaking products and currently use Dragon Professional Individual 15. The last seven or eight years, I have been using a Phillips SpeechMike Pro, but over the years, the dock no longer charged the microphone properly, and I had to buy several sets of batteries and wound up constantly switching them out. Very inconvenient. When I saw this new microphone, the SpeechMike Premium Air, I was ready for a new microphone, and so far I am very impressed. I've only installed it in the last day or two, but it has remarkable accuracy, and it was easy to set up. It is working very well with Dragon Professional, and the transition from the older microphone to this new one, has been virtually seamless. If you are using Dragon speech recognition software, this microphone is definitely worth a look.

Great Product with no Customer Service
As a longtime user of Dragon Medical using Philips microphones, I set out to use the Dragon Professional consumer product at home and purchased Dragon Professional version 16 along with the SpeechMike Premium Air. Dragon installed fine, but the SpeechMike Premium Air not so much. I think the product can be made to work, but don't look to Philips or Nuance for any help. There is no product support, and I mean none. As of this writing, the product doesn't even show up on the Philips web site, just the wired version. Philips offers no other support. I was finally able to find a YouTube video and am able to get some of the features working. Philips obviously wants to avoid any customer contact regarding this product. So do not purchase if you want to avoid a significant amount of time fiddling with the software and trying to get some help.

A bit expensive but excellent product.
I bought this product strictly to use as a wireless mike for dictating radiology reports with powerscribe 360. I wanted a hands free device that did not go over my head/ears. I put it in shirt pocket and it has great voice recognition. The battery lasts for at least a day or two. A fantastic device. Previously I had been using a desktop yeti microphone which worked nicely but wasn’t wireless and didn’t work well with background noise present. I have also used a dictaphone placed into my shirt pocket but don’t like the cable.

Updated Review after Tech Support from the seller
My initial review of this product was not very good, as a matter of fact, only one star. But after spending some time on the phone with Jack at YBsales (the seller), I have raised my overall rating to five stars! I have to note, though, that Phillips technical support itself was crap. They responded to an email one time, but never responded back after that. It was YB Sales that fixed the problem. It took some time, but Jack figured it out and now my Phillips speech Mike premium air is the best dictation microphone I've ever used. And apparently, the $147 "professional installation charge" was not necessary. Kudos to you Jack!

Easy to set up and use
It is easy to set up this product with the simple steps provided by the manufacturer. It works very well for me, and the speech-to-text function is accurate. The wireless feature provides freedom of movement and reduces the clutter of wires in the working area.

Qualität produziert in Österreich. 🇦🇹
